It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

To me it doesn't matter how the site looks as long as there are newer games, Linux support and DRM-Free. I do however like the new game pages :-)
I think the new game card layout is definitely more readable, although the playable video on top without audio seems a bit pointless.

wolfsite: ...the filters on the reviews are also nice with a lot of variety.
Holy nutballs, Batman! I didn't even notice it, but being able to filter for verified owners now is greatly appreciated. This might actually make me think about adding some more of my own reviews then.

As Ganni1987 said, I don't really care as long as the games keep coming, both old and new.

As for the new game pages, it's a start. Now can we drag the rest of this website to this decade?

Speaking of, I wonder if the OP is on dial up or something because the game pages appear to be loading faster than normal.

So GOG redesigned the game cards, and while people have opinions, I still find it hilariously awful that there are people are seriously trying to use Internet Explorer 11 at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within their kitchen.

Yeah, obviously! I like tradition and good old times/stuff. I miss the GOG of old. Especially the meaning (GOOD OLD GAMES).
Where can you see the amount of votes a game has now? It used to be at the top left of the page.

Cannot agree more with original poster.

Please GoG, make an option to switch back to old web format.
I'm a pc owner with a big screen. I don't need crap that looks like a Smartphone shop window.

[NOTE: On a hunch, I opened the site in Firefox, and indeed GOG is not displaying correctly in IE11 now. Post has been edited.]

I could not believe what I found when I arrived at GOG just now. What in heck happened around here?

There is only one price listed now. There is no way to tell from a game's page alone whether a game is on sale or not. [***Internet Explorer 11 issue***]

Where is all of the rating information? I see a single fraction with no total ratings number. [I still did not find the total ratings number, but I did not undergo an exhaustive search]

Where are the reviews? I see some kind of section at the bottom of the page, but nothing ever loads there. [***Internet Explorer 11 issue***]

Why is half of the store page a gigantic picture?

Why do you STILL not have sale end dates listed on the store page?

Do I finally have the ability to select a page of reviews, instead of having to click through 27 pages just to get to the most recent ones? I don't know--as I said, I can't see any reviews now. [***Internet Explorer 11 issue***]

The only reason to change something is for the purpose of improvement. I see a whole bunch of unwelcome change and little or no improvement.

I agree with Uilos, the first thing I thought when I saw the new page was that looks like a dodgy download site where you have to be careful what you click on to avoid downloading a virus or unwanted browser toolbar.

Alexander_R: A top banner, occupying 90% of screen estate with NOTHING? Excellent job! Dear GOG design team, if you wanted to send a message, that people without 4K screens aren't welcome here, you have accomplished that very well.
Wait - 90%? So it's even worse on FHD? It's taking 50% on my WQHD (and it's already too much for me) but I thought that's same for every resolution...
I like the way they look, but when the fuck did they start scrubbing reviews? Reviews I left for games I liked are now gone, which is weird because every review I ever wrote here was positive.

Agreed. I like it, some people here are really scared of change no matter what changes.

New game pages look good when it comes to reading reviews, I like that I can sort it by dates , I got tired of reading nostalgia reviews on some older games, and not how the game actually is. So it's good I can see last 30 day reviews from people whose first time is with the game. The verified owners is amazing thing too, just because some "steam owners" would barge in or random people that have agenda against certain types of genres.
The top banner should be less smaller, it takes more than half of my screen on 24" 1080p monitor.

I do not like the new look at all. The functionality has been significantly hindered and I have to "work" to see if I already own a game, where the DLC is, and how to "complete the series". I'm all for updates and trying something, but I'm also a fan of knowing when something new isn't working and to revert to what did. It'd be great to see the site go back to how it was, well, prior to today. I really don't like this new design. :(

I think they activated the mobile webpage for desktop users. But even then. It looks like just another crap store that tries to trick you.
- Remove the giant picture at the top of the page. Just make the small picture clickable to enlarge it
- The price is not the most important information and it shouldn't take up 20% of the page. This is not a supermarket where you have to shout to pay attention. There is a reason I am on the page and that is because I am interested. Not because of the price but because of the _game_
- One video is okay but most of the time you want to quickly watch screenshots the first time you are seeing the page. But all the first results are videos now! There are other stores like steam that make the same mistake. On my Samsung S8 it even slowed down the loading of the store page!
- All relevant information should be on the screen at full HD 1920x1080. The next page can show reviews. It is now 3 screens to get to the reviews!
- Don't just put this online like it is a nice surprise. You broke your own website and you are pretending all is fine

I love GOG and wish it all the best but the way the website is now I can't use it. It is a mess and I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.

I haven't seen even a single post that reflects such a mentality. I can't imagine what you are talking about.
Me and a lot of people on r/PCGaming.
