Just close all giveaways if you're that paranoid and willing to downrep whoever who criticizes your paranoia. I'm not concerned about my rep, but I'm concerned about being downrepped for having the opposing opinion.

I bet it's not as confusing as some of the Matt Smith/Moffat-era Doctor Who episodes from Season 6 and 7. (And this is coming from someone who is an ardent defender of Matt Smith's Doctor.)

In all seriousness, on a scale from The Rock to Interstellar, how confusing is Primer? I've heard a lot of good things about it, and am planning on seeing it sometime soon.
