amok: (...) This is a store selling games, and not the corrrect place for it.
Which apparently does not stop you from calling out and mocking here other groups of people (like Flat Earthers), or even calling other nazis.

Dude, the book you posted a link to literally cites as its source the same anti-semitic propaganda that Hitler cited in Mein Kampf.

Xeshra: Regarding graphics: If in full settings using Vulkan it still is a serious punch, even by modern standards.
Yeah I played it a few days ago . It was very early in the game but just the graphics with lighting, smoke coming from the floor vents at 144 fps took me by surprise.

sanscript: Thank you, that was honestly a fascinating read.

The thing about so-called "common sense" is that there is no such thing since it largely is a social construct. Not going too off into the reservoir here (!) but many things just doesn't add up regardless how much someone uses "common sense" as an excuse.

This reminds me a little of Plato's allegory of the cave...

EDIT: Just wanted to say this is a fantastic game, guys! RipnTear those shadows... I mean Demons!
Please leave Plato out of this.

Why? I see Plato everywhere...

Because Plato for all his faults deserve better than to be used in defense of Flat Earth conspiracy theories.

Mafwek: After completing this game, I'm giving it 7.5/10. I now understand why I disliked the game when I first tried it - stating weapons and half of the weapon upgrades are really bad, not to mention upgrade system being pain in the ass. All in all, solid FPS, with aesthetics being its strongest point.
Most importantly, the weapon masteries or skill point challenges often require you to play like an idiot. Instead of focusing on the most effective play, you have to focus on unnecessarily lining up enemies, farming specific glory kills or engaging with some dumb mechanic (kill enemies with an exploding Lost Soul).

I usually just farm the challenges at a convenient checkpoint as progress does not reset on load for whatever reason, (gotta love checkpoints.....). After it's done, I load the checkpoint one last time and continue playing normally.

Yeah, I played that way as well. Sucks a lot. Thankfully later weapons are powerful, level design is pretty good and combat arenas have a lot of verticality so I would say game has more positive than negative.

True. Once you get a couple ammo upgrades and weapons to juggle, you can actually go through a combat without having to do the "Chainsaw refill". And the game improves drastically at that point.

Weapons are mostly fine, but the Gauss Cannon is egregiously overpowered, once you get all upgrades. One Siege Mode headshot kills even a Baron. The one major blunder when it comes to weapon balancing.

I agree with your 7.5/10 rating. It's good overall, but a lot of small things bring it down.

After I played it now I must say... I'm not really impressed. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit. Or I played too much FPS in recent times.
Re: recent posts, I always wondered why you don't get to fight charlie chaplin man in any of the newer doom games. I mean he'd obviously be in hell and fighting him would be a good thing, right? That said, I also wonder now and then why anti-semitic incidents need their own category. Why they can't just be lumped in with hatred of other religious groups? Ahh well, probably just a cohiencidence...

Western bias plus Israel lobby, are probably the main reason. And one could argue no religious group has been as prosecuted as the Jews were, sadly.

You mean persecuted? Also (re: the recent past) i'd say people like the Tibetan monks would offer up a strong counterargument.

Damn, yes I meant persecuted. For Tibet it may, or may not be true but we are going dangerously into real world politics while still dealing with the Western bias and hypocrisy.
