About effing time! Now, we need some command and conquer! After the shooters, the strategies! Where are they already, damn?

original C&C Tiberian dawn is in desperate need of love. I think it would be a good thing to give it some well deserved attention.

Rare thing, but i totally agree with you, yay! They are freeware, i think (command and conquer original, red alert 1), but without expansions and absolutely, without tweaking and fixing to run in modern systems. Can i hug you and kiss you? I totally agree with you, for once!

The original C&C is a game that deserves to be a king in it's genre if you ask me. To this day it does things that other games haven't duplicated or they have but not done it well. I mean the plot a lone and the grittiness is still so exciting today.

WOW. I can't believe it. I thought you had to be kidding. No friggin way. This isn't happening.

Doom is my favorite game, it's probably the second video game I ever saw in my life, and I've been playing it all my life. It's the game I still play more than any other game; I play Doom every week, when I'm too busy to play it every day...

And to this day I haven't had a legit copy of it. S***m is not an option for me.

Now I'm so happy.

I hope there's some hope for us to see Quake 2 and Q3 Arena as well. But this is a friggin great start.

First and second Halo had a PC version each. Halo 2 was made for the PC as an advertisement for Vista IIRC.

Nice to those who haven't played the Doom 1-2 games yet, I guess. :) I already played them to death in the 90s, and frankly I feel they haven't aged that well as games...

Doom 3 and Quake 4 would be nice, though!
