Vinry_.: Makes sense, since I've never played the game myself and remember seeing many bad reviews about the game. Or maybe it was Fallout 76. With that in mind, again, I've still never heard people calling Fallout 4 as Bethesda's RPG masterpiece. On the other hand, it is Fallout New Vegas that has been receiving many praises. (I've never played the older Fallout games, so I don't know the overall opinion that people have towards those games)
New Vegas is a better game because of much better writing and a lot more choice and consequence. Still on a base gameplay level, what you're doing 95% of the time is the same, and FO4 has better combat. So it's all relative really. New Vegas is probably my favorite "Bethesda style" game since Morrowind, but that doesn't mean FO4 is bad. It's way better than FO3 as well.
