Hey all! Unfortunately the update will come at a later date, most likely the second week of May. The silver lining here is that it may contain additional bug fixes. Our apologies for that inconvenience.

KetobaK: What is the Creation Club releated content?
Paid mods.
Well, at least the update will still be coming! :)
Honestly I think not getting the creation club dlcs from the patch is not worth the frustration or refunding the game. Let's remember, creation club is paid content. Nexus modders can make great weapons, skins, etc. and have it for free, while bethesda makes you pay for it. Me personally, I'm not mad. I bought the game on gog to get it cheap, and knew there wouldn't be some stuff. I got the game cheap, I have mods, I'm happy with my purchase. Not to mention, there's still a small chance that the content from creation club gets to us somehow. Just gotta wait...

king_kunat: The DRM-free version of Fallout 4 GOTY we offer on GOG does not include the Creation Club feature – that also means that the update itself will have everything in it, except for the Creation Club related content, hence the delay.
Weird. Skyrim got the Creation Club content with the Anniversary Edition just fine. And now with the Fallout 4 Update its a problem?
I do hope the CC content is added to the game itself, it would be a disappointing if it isn't.
So Bethesda said ALL PLATFORMS would have update on 25.04, and now GOG version is delayed. The heck is going on, we're worse and punished becouse we don't want drm in games or what?

Whole hype to play updated version went away. GJ Bethesda!
Well, we have some good news and bad news.

First the bad news:

There are no good news.

the update got delayed on gog because they want to remove the cc content from it so we get the "no cc no drm" update
So the question still hasn't been answered by a blue.... Will the creation club content be applied with the update in order to be considered "fully updated" even though it is the DRM-free version? Otherwise this update is pointless unless you like to play in ludicrously high resolutions.
Are we atleast having the added content that was tossed in thats not creation club content?

Most likely not since the creation content, such as enclave items and armor etc are tied to the new quests which wont be applied to our version I bet,

Our version will just get the bug fixes and higher resolution garbage from the sound of it,

Than we can't call this "update" but "patch" :|

Also just looked at Steam community discussions for Fallout 4. Seems like people are pretty angry and upset about update - longer loading times, crashes, ultrawide not working, passing 60 fps is a lie as game still runs too fast, and loads of more negative comments.

For me it seems that Bethesda rushed quick crap update for PC's (as it's clear that main focus was on consoles) to boost their Fallout sales due to Amazon TV series.
Ugh. We need clarification on this. Being treated like a pirate for buying DRM free would be an insult. Here's hoping that GOG and Bethesda aren't being jerks.

For PC it was never really more than a little bit more fancy patch, but they kept the name from the console update.

From my understanding you can have that quest without the cc content the cc content just adds to it... but for the record I was more so referencing the baked in game update makeshift weapon pack that has no CC content to rely on and also the Halloween decor pack similar no cc content reliant factor they just tossed those two in the game in the update/patch with nothing tied to em..nor no need to access the cc club for em
