Even Steam has given up doing this shit, I thin k it's long past time GOG also did.

Have a sale, and make all the deals available for the full length of the sale.

No stupid gimmicks, just the best deals available for the full length of the sale.

If I want to buy any of the games, I will do so.

All these Flash sales do is lose GOG sales, from those that haven't the time, or inclination to chase this crap.
Plus customers like me that, have and will by many games on GOG, but boycott these types of sales entirely.

Far from getting me to chase these silly time limits, these deals make me avoid GOG for the entire sale.
I won't return here until 21st Febuary, when this trashy sale is finished.

See you the 21st!

If you don't like it, don't buy anything and piss off. No point crying like a bitch about it.

He could of course, as I have done, not buy anything, And cry like a bitch about it. Pissing off in progress ;op
Judging by GOG's previous sales, they'll probably have a period at the end when they put all the games on sale at once. (I can't promise this will happen; I'm just going by what they've often done in the past.)

Not likely, if we are to believe the FAQ:
3. Once a Flash Deal ends, is it gone forever?
Pretty much! A few deals may reappear here or there, but frankly... wouldn't count on that.
But who knows, wouldn't be the first broken promise around here... :\
Bye bye!

I curse you with a free copy of Jack Keane!

UhuruNUru: ...
They always annoyed the hell out of me. I made a script in the past to warn you when games you want are currently in promo in previous flash sales.

The timing really sucks (I just started my work day), but I'll update it in about 12 hours if someone else doesn't come up with something in the interim.

It's always worth it to complain about anti-consumer practices - no matter if Steam or GoG are the one who does shady stuff.
I'd suggest messaging Support directly too, so they have the feedback directly.

GOG is a business, if this kind of sale doesn't prove profitable and they know why it didn't work (which is why feedback is good), they'll move on.

EDIT: Or they'll keep revisiting it occasionally to see if anything has changed and if flash sales are now profitable. :P

It's OK. I buy twice as much to make up for those lost sales.

off course Steam had to give them up due to their new refund policies.

edit - but yes, I thoroughly dislike flash sales as well.

It seems I'm the only person that likes flash sales. I kinda miss those flash sales in Steam too.
