trentonlf: By all rights my bomb should have killed flub that game anyway instead of JMich, but again the mod wanted an extra layer of protection for the serial killer because he felt it was needed for some reason.
avatar
JMich: From what I recall, I didn't die by your bomb, but flub did have a 1-off bomb protection. At least that is how I recall the story, and I'm sticking with it.
LOL, at least you made me smile putting it that way ;-)

Why would I be speaking about anyone else but the dead doctor?? (Pointless questions)

HypersomniacLive: What makes you interpret the "traumatised" prefix as meaning Paranoid?

......<snip>.........
It was the closest thing I could find in mafiawiki. If you'd like to enlighten me you could, but you'll most likely keep asking questions....which I'll answer.....which is why I'm seen as the scummiest.

Brilliant.

Going by the setup and what is on the table so far, I don't think that RWarehall's only, or even primarily, source is the MafiaWiki.

You're much smarter and experienced than this.

Then vote for me if you think I'm scum.

yogsloth: @ Kryp, 3 scum left is just the basic math assumption. You know better than to try and read something into that.
It is still an interesting assumption. You gave no caveats for details which may change the assumption conclusion, such as, but not limited to: number of scum-teams, power role make up of scum and town relative to each other, the existence of neutral roles which may have their own agenda... etc, etc.

I find it noteworthy that you were so definite with this assumption. You have been prone to oversimplification in the past, however, so it is hardly damning in and of itself.

Lifthrasil: But IF we do start it, I think flubbucket should start. Followed by Krypsyn.

dedoporno: Where would you put yourself in terms of order?
Definitely after the two I mentioned. And preferably after those I can't get a read on yet (Sage, Blue and maybe even adalia and trent), but that will be the wish of everybody, so I'm not insisting on the last two and would be willing to claim after my two mentioned suspects and the lurkers. Or whenever two of the players I see as town ask me to do so.

Actually I am tempted to do just that. But I don't want to push your wagon too early. No need to hurry, the day just started and some of our lurkers haven't even reported in yet. And your ignorance can, after all, have two possible reasons. One of them is, you are scum. The other is compatible with you being town, under a certain condition, which I obviously can't name. Which of these two reasons is true could be clarified by a full claim by you. I already stated, that I would like you to start the mass claim. ... We haven't decided yet if we will mass claim, but in your case I think a claim would help town. ... Yes, I am pushing you for a claim and yes, I am aware, that you will probably say that you find that scummy. But IF you are town, you should still consider claiming, since it actually would help several townies to read you better. So, what do you say?

flubbucket: Then vote for me if you think I'm scum.
I'm The Reluctant Voter, did you forget?

In case it wasn't clear what I meant with my previous post - if you're town, you should know better than to ask me to enlighten you, right here in the open, this early in the game with all the enemies of the town watching and waiting. And if you're scum, or third-party, then you're the last person I should enlighten about anything.

flubbucket: snip
A thought occurs to me...

flub, do you have a particular reason you think yogs is scum beyond his play and behaviour?

Lifthrasil: But IF we do start it, I think flubbucket should start. Followed by Krypsyn.
My thoughts exactly!

That also looks very good. I think we have a start of the list...
Another game... another group of people wanting a mass-claim. I hate mass-claims. I think they are a game-breaking strategy, and they ruin the fun and challenge of the game.

However, if a majority wants me to claim, I'll even go first. However, I want the people who want me to claim to be on record. It would essentially be exactly as if we were truly playing the game, instead of employing a game-breaking strategy, and I was being pressure voted to claim. I can live with that, but nothing less.

Put me in the category of no mass claiming, I truly think it's a weak strategy for town to try and use to win and it breaks the game and makes it pointless to have even started the game to begin with. There will be times where someone has to reveal a role, but there is no reason for a mass claim ever IMO.
avatar
yogsloth: No mass claim yet. Someone important is still hidden.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: And it should stay that way.
But it won't for very long, right? And that way maybe it can help alot with determining the truth of a disputed claim, I'd guess? Which is better than it just being nightkilled tonight or tomorrow night, because scum just figured it out by themselves...

Krypsyn: I find it noteworthy that you were so definite with this assumption. You have been prone to oversimplification in the past, however, so it is hardly damning in and of itself.
Aren't we nit-picky today? It's almost like you're grasping at straws which I'm sure you aren't.

As for the mass-claim I don't like it since it's a pretty cheap way to get ahead. Especially when we are already ahead which I believe we are and there is no real reason to resort to such tools. I don't know about others but I'm not playing solely to win but to have fun in the process. But if the majority decides they want to go this way I guess it can't be helped.
