I think the powerful buddy is smart enough to not make a fuss. And he/she is one of them four in the flub's list besides Leo and CSPVG. Thus, Leonard may be trying to save his buddy mafia goon.

No Lynch is bad at this juncture.

We can't lynch scum if we lynch no one.

Casting aspersions on a cop claim which has had zero counter-claim convinces me we have scum.

If we happen to misslynch Today, a Townie is nighkilled and then we misslynch on Day 4 - mafia would win the game, yogsloth may announce it and thus, no nightkill after Day 4. It is logical, it is a possibility, lets hope it doesn't happen.

What I'm trying to say is, if there's 3 scum then 2 of them can perform night kill on odd days and 1 of them can do that on even days. If we end up taking the even guy out then there won't be any kill N4 but there still will be 2 night killers on n3. Information is little as of now since we only know N1 and N2 but that's what I think is happening.

I'm certain that's not what Hunter means. There is no sense in discussing what would happen if we lose the game.

Ah, disregard it. It's just what I had in my mind about how scum operate in this game. I just felt that there could be some even/odd restriction which prevents them from being able to kill every night. I felt that would explain why there was only 1 kill n2 whereas there were 2 attempted kills if we count the blood in foyer + mess in the room on n1. (which weren't there on n2)

With the second killing party (Krypsyn) gone it's unlikely to get more than 1 NK. It's more likely he was unable to NK on N1 or was prevent in some way (maybe even his own murder prevented him to act) rather than mafia members having to shift between them. I don't think I have ever seen such a restriction within the same mafia team.

@ Hunter65536 – Mafia have only one factional kill every Night, you’re overlooking that on N1 there was a SK in play.

Imagine a situation where CSPVG is one of the three mafia. Flub's claim being right, in the list of 6 suspects there would be 3 Town, 3 Mafia. CSPVG, as scum, is at this point focused on "three" players, whether it means his mafia group or the three townies. And so, he unintentionally writes "three people" instead of "six people".

This idea is one of those crazy WIFOMS, but knowing human nature, people sometimes do things subconsciously.

Interesting, it has been discussed before that there could be 3 scum members (trent and cristi both gave the same estimate previously when I asked a question about what they thought the composition to be). It would've been less weird if CSPVG gave 3 suspect names because that could be chalked up to confusion between the total suspect pool and the number of people he's listing as suspicious but that's not the case here.

@dedo Like I said I was just throwing around an idea I had and it turned out I forgot something basic.

If I had to rank the other 4 people as possible scum I would say

1. cristi
2. CSPVG
3. Hyper
4. dedo

The top 2 are probably interchangeable as my next top suspect. If either Hyper or dedo are scum they have me fooled.

My schedule today is a visit to the Titanic museum, Ripley's believe it or not odditorium, and probably a butterfly garden. I will still check in as often as I can and respond as needed.
