wrogan: Hi Guys, I'm new to GOG. Recently, I tried to download Witcher 1 offline installer which is 8.8GB. My monthly plan has daily limits, so I had to pause the download every day. Now the thing is it has been a week, and GOG has used 10+ GB but only 4GB has been downloaded. It has been eating up my whole data plan is there any particular reason for it? Like a background process ? I can't find where the rest of the data is going.
Only think I can think of is if you are using Galaxy to install directly it may be checking file integrity to be sure no files are corrupted when you restart the download.

You may want to download the offline installers from the site itself if you are not doing this that way, The Witcher has 4 parts to download and as long as you don't have connection issues just download them one at a time.

In the websites menu bar go to your account name, a drop down menu will appear then select games which will take you to your library, find the game you want to download and look for "Offline Installers"
