Lexor: What? Over 100+ games? o.o ...even like 50+ would be too much for me.

BreOl72: Well, it's easy to amass that many, if you set every game you are slightly interested in on the list, as soon as they are (announced to become) released on GOG. And then they sit there, either not released yet, or not out of development, or simply still a little too expensive...and so the list keeps growing steadily. :)
My wishlist is only for games I did some research about and I really want to play them.
There are many games I "just" like but I do not have time for all of them.

OldFatGuy: Screenshot shows the entirety of my wishlist.... five whole games.... lol

I will get them some day, but want to wait for them to be on sale.
Um, that list shows 6 games. ;D

Nice list, btw. :)

Doh, that's right, it was 5 for like forever but I added that Medal of Honor just the other day. That would make it six.

My bad. Sorry about that. Damn, not only is my memory failing, my ability to count is too. lol Oh well, it's not like I was good at counting anyway. I always believed 1 plus 1 equaled 3. It sure does seem that way in most of the families I've known. In nature too. lol

think I have about 10 - 12 items on my wishlist, though I have just deleted 1. It's a good idea to have a wishlist, although "bookmarks" may be more apt, as there is a potential to return to it in the future.
I went through my wishlist a while ago... hmmm... yep unchanged...

Mine's only got three. Strangely though, GOG has not discounted any of them in over a year, so they're definitely due to at some point.

No problem....I am just very "autistic" about details, and wasn't trying to rag on ya. Have a good one then. :)
I did this recently with both GoG and Steam. I removed all the games that sounded "interesting" but that I know I realistically will never play due to time constraints. So now the list is about 25 games or so that are all games I really want to play someday and not just stuff I will never play anyway.

This also affects what I actually buy since I stopped buying stuff that I will never play. No need to keep piling on my massive backlog when I already own more than enough games now.

Yep. Same here.

I also recently started getting rid of real (=non-digital) stuff in my house.
You know: sell, what can be sold, give away stuff to charity which won't bring money in a sale, and throwing all the rest away.

Once you start doing this, you realize, how much of the stuff you amassed over the years, is completely unnecessary.

I opened some cartons lately, which contained things that I once thought of as absolutely essential for my wellbeing...but with which I had no problem, to stow them away in the cellar and attic for the last 10 to 15 years (some items even longer!), without even recalling, that I own them.
The sheer madness.

Absolutely, it feels good to "travel light". It's not about depriving yourself of things you want but it IS about getting rid of all the junk we amass over the years. No need to have all that stuff sucking your energy away for no good reason. And like you said it feels good to give stuff away to those who need it more than you do. So kudos to you for doing this.
