Hey everyone, I was hoping you could help me by letting me know what games here are able to be played on a home LAN configuration. I want to have a LAN party with friends. I have 10 computers (no internet connections) that I have set up on a network to play games with friends on my home network. What games will let us play together? Thanks for any help you can give.

It literally depends on the group, but you can't go wrong with UT or Quake.

...And on what the specs are for those ten computers he mentions. Unless he's rich, it's not likely that they're all bleeding-edge PCs. (Unless his friends all brought their own machines over and left them at his place for him to set up.)

Which is why both the games I mentioned aren't bleeding edge.

Sorry, I only replied to you to base my observation off yours; the comment was really more of a hint to the OP to mention what the general specs are for his networked computers so we can narrow down our recommendations. (Though I'm struggling to come up with any high-end modern games that offer proper a proper offline-friendly LAN mode, I'm sure there are some, and it would do little good to recommend them if he's rocking a bunch of Gateways from 1998.)
Eh, I'd recommend multiplayer FPS games rather than aRPGs or anything with too long "legs". If you've only got a few guests and some of them get bored of one game you don't want the rest to hog all the game time continuing to play something long-winded - it's a good way of ruining the mood. So you know, snappy gameplay with relatively quick turnover of matches would be good, then you can move onto another title if interest starts to flounder. Quake 3 Arena / Team Arena is decent. If you're going RTS pick a title that doesn't require long builds before you can get to a decent battle situation.

Obviously it'll depend on what your guests like to play, how long you expect the party to go for, and how many people you expect to attend ultimately. If you all love one game in particular you can dedicate the party to a single title.
We usually used to play some Quake (3 would be my choice or 1) , Unreal Tournament, Medal of Honor, Starcraft. Also Enemy Territory can be great for at least 6 players.
Bat.... oh right, it is not sold here :-(

Master of Orion 2 BUT everyone must then know how to play it fairly well at least.

There are quite a lot of RTS games where a match takes 1½ hours tops.

All of the PC's are i5's with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. They have Radeon R7 Graphics adapters. I have 20 of them connected with gigabit NICs through a Cisco Router and I have an HP server with 64GB and 3 TB of storage with the newest Intel Xeon server processor available. I will only be using 10 to play on, (Unless there is a game that allows 20 players.)

128GB... means it will leave out several games as they simply do not fit onto that, especially if you have Windows 10 that gobbles up some 35GB or so. Good thing there are lots of games that should work fine though.

Now I forgot what I was going to suggest :-(
Another vote for Quake 3 Arena.

You mostly looking at competitive, co-op, a mix? Shooting, racing, strategy, etc?
(Note that I, personally, won't have a ton of recommendations, since I neither play multiplayer on PC, nor have I played many games from here that have a LAN option; I'm just trying to get the ball rolling some more.)
Some of my favorite LAN parties were playing the Worms games. (World Party, Armageddon...)

They should easily run and are tons of fun!
