Sarang: Well I picked up FFXIII on PC for the Japanese audio with subs. I already own it on the Japanese PS3 as I was terrified when it released in the US Square would water the audio down to equalize it with the 360 version.
Same here. I owned it on xbox360 many years ago, but the pc port ran like crap on my old i5 2500 3.00ghz cpu and 970 gtx nvidia gpu, wasn't able to go past 18-27 fps.

I have from almost a upgraded my pc, but never looked back at the game.

My main problem though, is that SE is known to go anti-consumer, so a drm-free version is rather unlikely.

Quite a shame, since I'd love to see here some old classics like FFVII,VIII,IX and hell, even X.
if gog did something like that then a bunch of people with 500+ games on there stream library would get 500 games if own on gog for free. i didn't think gog wants to give away over 10K worth of games for free... that would actually being fare hurt gog more then help gog

when it comes to Japanese games and american with square i normally just call it racism, it's been happening since 1980s with nintendo and even more early then that where we get screwed over a lot. i'm just calling it how i see it

Super mario 2 that would be to hard for Americas
FF7? one of them never got released in america because i how i heard it, it would have been to boring for Americans
Mother Earth
the list can go on... even even for crappy audio from multiply games like FF games and even some of the older games i can't think of right now

Dalthnock: Reminds me of my childhood. I was suspended so I mosied on down to the state park I lived next to and lo and behold, some school had bussed in their seniors for a graduation party! Kegs of beer, hash, seniors lying face down in pools of vomit. And then my dad showed up with his shotgun. lol

Oh, you mean he went in to stop the party, not that he was already there a-shootin' & a-hollerin' up the place, like a true patriot?

At least tell me he shot someone in the butt.
I'm surprised how fast people will neg an idea on these forum's, I'd always considered GOG users more open minded.
Certainly the idea isn't without merit, hence why GOG allows some games to be imported already and Steam allows game activation from codes purchased from other stores. People once laughed at the idea of making money off the Internet ........ or re-financing loans.

Take (for example) Galactic Civ or BioShock Infinite: I already own these 2 base games on Steam so the chances of me buying them on GOG is zero, but if I could import the base games then the chances of me purchasing the DLC on GOG is exceptionally high.

So by allowing people to (for example) import "base games" from their Steam library, GOG is getting:
*A high possibility of DLC sales for those games (especially during sales).
*A new customer who'll likely purchase all future games through GOG.
*Provide a niche service which improves gamers perception of the company.

Just wanted to say: Kudos to you for using "lo" correctly. SO MANY people online (and I guess in real life as well) simply can't fathom that the word is an interjection, not some description about how close to the ground they should look.

He was there because he'd gotten shitcanned and wanted me to cut the grass or some shit. I wish I'd had my Wrist-Rocket. lol

Fair enough. I just wonder, though, how many times did he tell you to cut the grass before he decided a shotgun would speed up the process?

You know, it's kinda rude derailing threads.
