No Gods or Kings or DRM.

Update: Classic versions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are now available. If you already own Bioshock Remastered or Bioshock 2 Remastered, you can download classic versions directly from your GOG library.

BioShock™ and BioShock 2™ Remastered are finally available DRM-free.

The legendary shooters emerge from somewhere beyond the sea, dripping with that deliciously claustrophobic atmosphere of decay, corruption, and human ambition gone wrong.
Widely considered as the gold standard for story-driven shooters with light RPG elements, they have been remastered to feature higher resolution textures and models, director's commentary, and several other additions that ensure time will never wash them away.
Pump yourself full of plasmids, pump your enemies full of bullets, and dive right back into Rapture's beautifully rotten halls.

RichardHallas: Can we please have the Mac versions made available too?

Both Bioshock games are brilliant, and they're available – in both original and Remastered versions – for Mac as well as PC. But GOG has only the PC versions. It's always really frustrating when that happens. Please add the Mac versions as well, if you possibly can.
NEVER!
The publishing rights for the Mac versions belong to FERAL INTERACTIVE....
And they are DRM LOVERS.

rodrolliv: On the one hand, yeah awesome, about time!
On the other, no Infinite makes me sigh
Bioshock 1 .........2007
Bioshock 2 .........2010
Bioshock Infinite 2013

Just wait another three years, then it will come. ;)

Karavox: Over 15Gb of (very) slightly enhanced textures and - wow, my God! - jellyfish now floating around...
Are there Metroids in the game???

Again these fanatics.
Nice to see these released here, even if the first has been on humble for ages.

tinyE: Now I can safely uninstall my Steam version. Sorry Gabe.
If you don't demand (and get) your money back, I'm sure Gabe won't even notice. ;)
Nice catch there, gog.com.

Not sure whether the remasters are worth it if one already has the originals.
Waaoouhh génial :)
Cool to have them here.

*Clicks GOG bookmark link

*Reads headline "Would you kindly..."

*Looks at picture of Big Daddy and Little Sister

"Hmm... Bioshock... when did..."

"OH!"

Bought both, looking forward to Infinite.

And good job to whomever made the front page winter sale banner for this release.
Nice to see both games on GOG and i hope the 3rd game finds its way on GOG as well.

i bought it two years ago. and since we don't know how soon "soon" is for the originals, I'd better keep my Steam version.
