The raw and the cooked.

Cook, Serve Delicious! and Cook, Serve Delicious! 2!! are now available, DRM-free at GOG.com.
Get the first game 75% off and the sequel 40% off until January 23, 2PM UTC. Buy them together for an additional 20% series discount (this will remain in effect beyond Jan. 23).

"Come on, Jake, I said medium rare, not ready to jump off the plate and do a little dance!"
"Alice! This needs more salt! More… More... A little more. Too salty! Throw it away and make me a new one!"
"Kevin, cigarette break was over 3 minutes ago, buddy! Table 4 is about to start nibbling on the cutlery!"

Harsh. But running a restaurant is serious business. If you can't take the pressure, the kitchen can turn into a proper nightmare, but if you conquer its challenges, the world will be your oyster. In the hardcore simulators Cook, Serve, Delicious! you begin as the owner of a crumbling eatery, and gradually step up your cooking, managing, and showmanship skills to become the talk (or treat) of the town.
Once you get tired of amassing Platinum Stars, try the campaign in co-op, go for the Tag Team local multiplayer mode and the Strike Challenges, or just fire up Zen mode for some tasty relaxation.
Don't forget to also grab both games' OSTs for your collection.
Looks weird (insane) enough to be entertaining. And the price is good enough to maybe take some risk...
Interestingly, this came out just while I was cooking.
Anybody knows something about this games?

Klumpen0815: A mouse is way too slow for this game.
It's supposed to be played with a keyboard and believe me: You need all those keys!
Have you tried the game with an Xbox 360 controller?
These games are so much fun. Like Warioware mixed with restaurant sim. Instant (re)buy. Thank you GOG and devs!

mqstout: "Action" -- "Managerial"? So it's frantic clicking to get things done? Hmm.
Terraria is tagged as "Action - Adventure - Managerial" (but not "Sandbox"). I wouldn't take GOG's method of tagging games too seriously.

What the fuck? You guys at GOG rejected the new Zachtonics game but allowed these? I'm not wholly against "mobile" games but I wonder what goes your your collective minds sometimes.

[edit] I accidentally a whole word.

Oh hey, another game where you get to simulate doing chores. I'll put it on my shelf next to "mow the lawn 3" and "clean the bathroom tycoon".

And Zachtronics gets rejected, but this mobile phone piece of ****? COME ON IN!

This special GOG release includes the Battle Kitchen Expansion Pack, never before available in a DRMfree format! This expansion adds local co-op, a whole new campaign with dozens of new levels and challenges, tons of additional features and improvements, and lots more!
I think it's really shitty of the devs to not update the Humble Bundle version.
The last update over there is from 06/28/2014 and they added the Battle Kitchen a few months later...

I really like the game, but having to buy the DRM-free version on a second store in order to get the added content isn't nice.

BTW: People calling this game a "mobile game" have no clue whatsoever.
It's rather the other way round, I wonder how much they had to change in order to make it playable/winnable on mobile.

i_hope_you_rot: Casual games ?
Not really. It's more time-management games for hardcore gamers.

I don't think it will work. You need way too many keys to play these games.

Very nice :) This was a really well-made and enjoyable game.
Wow. And cheaper here than on Steam.
I honestly can't think of a more boring concept for a video game.
From what I've heard, you have to press key combinations for every step in dish creation. And that's not including the restaurant management part. Tell me again how this is like a mobile game?

I can: Painting the floor.

Having a good concept is good, but in the end it's about how well the concept was executed. ;)
