rjbuffchix: They could view this forum and plainly see people like me who want to buy a 1st officially DRM-free copy.
Fair point. I own a physical copy from a few years back but I guess a DRM-free release would be a reason. Odd to do a re-release on the same platforms it's already on though. Let's hope your correct about them seeing the responses here though. Even if I don't buy it I'll always support more DRM-free releases.

They released a limited amount of DLC. Then they released a second wave of DLC, but decided to call it the Creation Club content and artificially removed it from the definition of DLC. Meaning that they promised people at the onset, we will give you everything we made. And then they reneged on that promise, and they did so to their benefit or the detriment of the plaintiffs. So that’s where they did something wrong. They lied. They took money from gamers, and then they made more money.”

interesting and it will be even more interesting, when the court decides to give free access to every cc content for free to every season pass owner.

so you're at least expecting a singleplayer focused game. after the whole fallout 76 abomination, i suspect that tes 6 will be an mmo.

Ganni1987: Hopefully this will also mean a GOG release too.
This is too niche! Many gamers requested from GOG to not release it.
Not like this bothers me, the old editions are there. That said I'd bet it's more to upgrade the game for PS5 and such, rather than really improving the PC version. We'll see though.

IIRC the original version has MSAA while the special edition only has TAA, which made me play the OG last time around. I'm more used to TAA nowadays though.

Yeah if all those extra stuff is included in the "base game", without needing an external account to download them one by one... maybe a DRM-free GOG release would be finally feasible. Maybe.

I'd like to see it here in spite of Creation Club existing. Of course it'd be nice to have ALL versions available here but I don't see that happening. 15k+ people voted for "Skyrim + All DLC's".

But I don't think a GOG release will happen, especially not when it's initially released elsewhere, which will make some people happy.

I would expect a single player game, to the same pretty short story as oblivion or Skyrim, as they already have ES online as the MMO. They aren’t going to run two separate MMOs at the same time. Never played fallout 76 so can’t say on that.
What it will definately need is about 6tb of user mods to make it playable of course.

AB2012: I fully expect ES6 to be a full-on cash machine with a game tacked onto the side as an afterthought.
A game that would require community made creation club premium content to fix.
