This game looks awesome. I hope it eventually sees release.

After reading through the RPGwatch and RPGcodex threads posted earlier in this thread I'm going to have to pass on this one. This guy is such an incredible raging bigot that I'll be happier in life knowing that I haven't supported him in any way.

This guy sure knows how to make a sales pitch.

It could backfire though... at least those who hate DRM will not like it that the game will only be DRM-Free for a limited time, even as far as the game developer to promise that the game will always have DRM in the future.

I am actually genuinely surprised that this has raised as much money as it has.

I also find the approach Cleve has taken to "promotion" interesting , though not surprising (like the DRM comment). He seems to be saying "this is MY game, and you should be honored I've granted you the privilege of playing it!" rather than, you know, actually MARKETING it.

I wish every other fund-raising campaign would hire Cleve from now on to make updates.
