The original BBC version of The Woman in Black

If you forget the dodgy video quality, makes for a great spooky watch and far better than the remake.

Nice.

However, I don't feel this thread is getting enough love.

Let's seem some more! :D

100% agree!

On another forum there was one poster who would every Halloween share some real life strange stories, it got the old hairs on the back of neck tingling.

The Death of Elisa Lam was one mystery and just down the road from me in the UK

I watched that movie I think two, maybe three years ago for my annual Halloween Horror Movie Week. It's really damn good, I love horror film like it, old-school haunted house stuff focused on building a creepy mood not buckets of gore. It's also a great example of using jump scares well. I think there's only one in the entire film, and it's perfect. They got me with it, and I wasn't even mad.

I've never seen the remake, but I don't really feel inclined to.
SCARY!
And this is a pretty cool site:

The life and death of a pumpkin (short film, dark comedy).
I got 32 out of 40 which is really embarrassing because I've seen six of the eight I got wrong. :P
I think it's funny they think the rocky horror show is a scary movie in that quiz.

The film Pet Semetary is getting a remake. You can compare the new and old movie trailers.

The BBC made a radioplay based on the book.

This one is an old fashioned Radio drama about a supposedly haunted train.
