GOG.com: Spring Sale special: exclusive GOG-Opera GX Platformer Bundle with a sum discount of -64%!
From the opera stage into the GOG forum...
Thanks, but I'll stick with the Fox.
Already had picked up the titles in the bundle upon their respective releases anyway.
Last I tried it it forced-installed itself into a sys folder. That's a no-no for me.

GOG.com: Did you hear about Opera GX?
That sounds fishy.... shouldn't that be "Have you heard about Opera GX"?

"Did you hear about the explosion in the forest?", or "Did you hear about the cat that crawled into the ventilation system in GOG's main building and stole some treats". Or "Did you do your homework?" vs "Do you have some homework?"

Opera GX is a continued project, mind you.

Probably just me again being pedantic about that sort of thing. :D

Not sure how / why you find that fishy.

Opera, the third paragraph of your advert's landing page says that your product protects users' privacy*, yet has a cookie pop-up using the dark patterns of only having "accept all / manage settings" buttons, followed by a pre-ticked checkbox on the "manage settings" dialog. You ought to pay GOG a lot better than your agreed rate for installations, because GOG's done their part but your own marketing team have put a "we misuse your data" pop-up on the landing page.

* Not quoting directly because I'm seeing the German version of the page.
Great games. But as usual GOG bundles are useless for most long-time customers or people who buy a lot of games. GOG should either give out additional gift keys or extra discounts for games from the bundles you already own.

octalot:
Yep, Opera is (indirectly) owned by Qihoo 360 which doesn't have the best reputation (they also own WoSign whose certificates were removed from all major browsers after they intentionally violated certificate standards).

If this included the Deluxe Edition of The Knight Witch, then maybe I'd buy it.
Not worth it now. All these bundles should always contain ultimate editions.

And yeah, bundles should get proportionally cheaper if you already own something. Steam does that...

Opera is not the Opera it used to be. I'm not installing additional Chinese spyware on my PC, thank you very much.

Also, the whole notion of a "gamer" browser is ridiculous.

The news is weird, true, a browser making ads in the store.

Also, i have Edge and Opera as browsers, until the last update i was happy with opera.

Edit: I don´t know that it was Chinese, i always thought that it was Norway as google said.

Honestly no.

And that's ok, I own Hob and Greak already.

PS: and I use Firefox :-)
