SargonAelther: Stopped being Norwegian ages ago.
Old Opera devs developed Vivaldi a fair while back. Good alternative (from an old Opera fan perspective). Opera GX is just....crap imho
Opera gained a lot of traction for implementing a free VPN, there's loads of better alternatives nowadays.

I wonder why didn't they jump the IA bandwagon already, they are loosing the boat.

That's not next, that's previous. That happened back in the '90s already.

Indeed & wikipedia can help on that

Well Opera is a few % market share it seems, but Firefox, the one i use... is not much more popular which is weird enough. Chrome seems to be the "all ruling hero" and i got no clue why...
Edge still more popular than Firefox, not bad for a browser that worse.

https://gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-share

They say Chrome is so super fast... so far i got no issue with Firefox being to slow, probably because my machine is fast enough. Chrome is another word for "spyware" and the majority seems to enjoy it... okay, no secret.

Opera is okay i guess, still better than Chrome or Edge, but Firefox is still my prefered browser.

In my mind, people only have to care about browser-speed or browser-efficiency as long as their system is simply to weak, for example on mobile-devices, which is kinda the main-customer for Opera (or something as crappy as Chrome). For true gamer systems, the issues is on another spot, for example badly optimized games or a bad internet-connection and stuff like this, but the browser will barely make any difference. Firefox surely is hogging a lot of RAM but on modern gamer-PCs, there is zero issues with. What i really need is a lot of utility, in this term the potential for Fifefox is huge, however, i guess it makes sense using Opera on mobile devices, for better efficiency.

Anyway, the bundle is not making much sense to me because i already got Hob... i rather want to avoid buying same stuff multiple times.

Thank you, i will give Vivaldi a chance to see how it is. Always searching the most secure and less ram necessary browser.

Yes.
I have been a staunch Opera user for over 20 years (back in the early days of version 5-6), and used it exclusively as my main and only browsers on Windows and Linux. But have recently (past 6 month or so) been moving away from using it, as it not going in a direction that is useful or beneficial to me any more. Been using Palemoon as my main (goto) browser for those said 6 months and loving the experience so far. It's (generally) slower, and has less add-on (extensions) than most other browsers. But it works, and it is going in a direction that more fits with my liking. :)
