- We heard your feedback regarding the ability to pick up loot while your storage is full. The majority of you dislike that change and dislike your resources going to waste. We’ve reverted this change.
- The raytraced light flickering issue that occurred during the Resource Comet flyby sequence has been fixed.
- We fixed a bug with the building override functionality. If you used a gamepad and tried to build a gate replacing existing wall tiles, the game would not sell those tiles and they would become stuck forever. The same occurred when trying to replace any two compatible buildings with each other. It is fixed now, and you can safely go back to building The Great Wall of Galatea with your gamepads. This issue did not affect mouse and keyboard controls.
- We made Cobalt nuggets more distinct by giving them a slightly brighter light, as they looked too similar to Carbonium.
- The lights on other lootable objects have also been slightly intensified to make them easier to spot on the battlefield.
[*] We’ve fixed several obscure crash bugs that were reported after the previous update.
Apparently the 1.55 update was much larger than I posted a few pages back, sorry about that.

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another update, focusing on improving story beats with important characters in Act 1. I know you're all excited for the testing of Act 2 to begin, and it's precisely the writing of new scenes that triggered the need for more character interaction in Act 1. The first act now serves as a rock-solid foundation for what comes next, and I appreciate your patience in this.

Please note that old saves will not be compatible with this update, as it adds many changes to the story, as well as stat changes to the influence checks when both you and a rival character try to win the crowd.

Morl
Morl resurfaces now in many scenes with interesting consequences.

- Morl will resurface (if alive) and can be an ally or enemy depending on your earlier choices.
- Added an assassination scene — Morl might try to get you killed.
- If you survive Morl's assassination attempt, you can try to have Morl banished. But can you prove what happened or will he slip away? Will important figures support you, or did your previous choices erode their trust?

Chapter 1 (Demo)
- Morl yields and becomes an ally more frequently in battle.
- Added Teach Morl to respect you options after knocking him out, good and bad variants.
- Added a Sneak back and shoot Morl in the back option. How will your character perform the deed? How will you rationalize it? You could botch the execution and have Morl flee and plot his revenge.
- Added dialogue options and Wid's reactions to these new choices with Morl (and the option to not tell Wid of course).

Raven
Another important character in the first act, we've given Raven's scenes some more refinement.

- Rescue Risk Chain rework
- Better characters position setup in many shots
- new risk chain variants for solo playthrough (without Etain)
- Raven can fall captive and you need to escape 2 archers flanking you

- Raven's true name — added an investigation scene
- If you notice Wid's reaction to Ygrain calling her Raven Child.
- After you save Raven and gain her trust, you can start unraveling the truth.
- This includes 5 new insights about Ygrain, Raven, and the life of orphans in the community.
- A variant where the player, the girl, and Etain can tease each other.

Note: these new scenes with Morl and Raven currently do not have Voice-Over. This will be added later when recording for Act 2 begins. You can expect an update on the Act 2 timeline in the coming weeks.

Etain
- Life & death check refined flow + Raven’s involvement more important

Combat
The game now tracks:
- A flawless victory (not getting injured) - gives a motivation boost
- Humiliation (Morl will seek vengeance even if you let him live)

Feedback Implementation
- Remove forced ‘hand in hand’ result while waiting for a healer at Etain’s bed
- Add Mercy kill to combat
- Explain why you put Raven on your shoulders in the Bear encounter scene
- Raven uses a slingshot (as she can’t draw an adult’s bow)
- Inform about Choose Your Path before making the choice + why some options are unavailable after picking up duties
- Refine Wid introducing watch duty when you decide to stay inside
- Refine Raven inquiry about why you did or did not stay behind to kill all slavers
- Refine Morl and Ygrain introduction texts so players can make up their own minds about them
- Fix hilltop branch going to the watchtower in one instance
- Refine Insights: explain better what makes these specific recruits in the roman army more likely to withdraw

Fixes
- Fix some combat risk chains options missing in centurion duel
- Fix ‘hide from slavers’ all party variants (Etain, Raven, rescued slaves YES/NO)
- Remove superfluous Risk Chain Bonus from catch Etain’s fall check

Other
- Act 1 localization start, cleanup
- Optimized texture format saves 30MB of download and 60MB of install space

Man-Hub adjudicated legal across Sol
The Interplanetary Court of Sol has passed a judgement in a century-old dispute on the legal standing of controversial information and manual database. With a stated goal of providing free and unrestricted access to information, Man-Hub was sued for violating intellectual property laws by multiple corporations. In closing, the jury proclaimed that the release of manuals shared by the service was already mandatory for all affected parties and the whole case was based on a technicality. The judgment is not final.

Thruster burns are a basis for weregilds
In today's press conference the spokesmen of the Vilcy formation revealed that the bounty-hunting organization considers thruster burns as a fully-fledged basis for posting weregilds. Exhaust-based damage was often disputed as mere accidents, and this release opens up a shortened path for offended parties to seek compensation.

Maintenance Logs
- Additional soundtrack.
- New User Manual tab for all equipment, detailing in-game usage of your hardware.
- If you don’t agree on a trade, but still dock at habitat, they won’t tell you that ore transfer is in progress.
- Some portions of the screen could not be interacted with using the mouse.
- Consistently burning ships or stations with your torch drives will be considered a hostile act now. Accidental burns might still be forgiven.
- In some situations, you could get a salvage option for a lifepod of a ship rather than for a ship. If successful, this could corrupt your savegame.
- Fixed some typos.

I literally just finished downloading the 2022_02_24 version, refreshed my page, and there was a newer version (2022_02_24a) available for download.
Oh, not to mention: the last changelog is from December 2016. Of course it is. Why shouldn't it be?

Changes and balance

General
o Summon minions, sentries, and their projectiles should no longer harm critters
o Updated Bundle of Balloons' sprite to reflect the items that went into it better
o When placing a Graveyard-crafted version of a natural wall directly next to a natural version of
that wall, they should now merge seamlessly rather than having a large border between them
o Skeletron now drops Healing Potions instead of Lesser Healing Potions. This same drop will also be applied to Deerclops,
though Queen Bee will continue to drop her Bottled Honey instead.
o Flinx Fur now requires less to research in Journey mode
o All food (except Ale and Sake) now require less to research in Journey mode
o All Biome crates, as well as Golden and Obsidian Lock Boxes, now require less to research in Journey mode
o Black and Pink Pearls are now more common when opening Oysters. Their sell value has been proportionally reduced.
o Obsidian can now be mined by Pickaxes of 55% mining power or higher
o When defeating the Wall of Flesh in normal mode, it will now always drop 1 weapon and 1 emblem,
like Expert treasure bags do
o Heart and Star Statues are now twice as likely to be found in worldgen compared to other statues

Deerclops
o The Guide now has a hint about how to find Deerclops if the player has not yet defeated it
o Deerclops' HP values now scale at a modified rate in Expert and Master, like other bosses.
As a result, it will now have a lower maximum HP in both Expert and Master.
o The above fix also addresses an issue where Deerclops' HP did not scale UP with increased player count
in Expert/Master multiplayer games
o Deerclops now only remains present in the Snow biome for 1 day when no players are present, instead of 3 days.
o Deerclops' boss health bar will disappear from the screen when suitably far enough away from it that the boss fight
is not active. It will re-appear again once the fight is resumed.
o Fixed an oversight where Deerclops had 0 defense
o After defeating Deerclops, it now only has a 25% chance to spawn again naturally under proper conditions.
This was previously 100% chance.
o Deerclops now drops potions on death; in this case, regular Healing Potions like Skeletron.

NPC Happiness
o Pylons now require a minimum of 2 NPCs under all conditions to be sold
o The minimum required happiness for NPCs to sell Pylons has been decreased from 0.85 to 0.9
(the lower the number, the happier). This means that it is now easier to make NPCs happy enough to sell a Pylon.
o If an NPC is present in a hybrid biome (for example, the Hallowed Desert), and they like at least one of those biomes,
then they will gain positive happiness from the biome they like. This will only work for
a liked biome vs a neutral/disliked biome; it will not allow a neutral biome to overcome a disliked biome.
This also does not override major unhappiness/housing invalidation due to being near the Corruption, Crimson, or Dungeon.
o The number of NPCs you can have in a town before Crowded penalties begin to take effect has been increased by 1

Bug fixes
o Fixed an issue where the Eyebrella Cloud positioned itself oddly when a player is sleeping
o Fixed an issue where a number of blocks which should have blocked light were not blocking light
o Fixed an issue where Honey and Dry Bombs could not be placed on Weapon Racks
o Fixed an issue where Torch God's projectiles from Corrupt Torches generated snow dust
o Fixed an issue where Chester's Smart Cursor outline did not rotate with him when in the air
o Fixed an issue where walking Goldfish couldn't be Corrupted/Crimson'd like other Goldfish
o Fixed an issue where Desert Tiger did not bounce on enemies correctly if your Journey time settings
were paused or sped up
