Reminds me of an official poster for a series my daughter loved, whose comments area was filled with complains like "$20 is still too high!", "these prices are insane!" and so on. So I kindly posted a link to a sale going on a photography blog I frequented, where myriad people were gushing over the opportunity to acquire a small-ish print from a relatively famous photographer for a mere $200.

Hell, I even started gaming again because of its price; buying photography lenses was getting too expensive and needed a cheaper hobby. Now that mainstream film has been discontinued and the cinema fad drove the prices of equipment upwards... ugh.

Even the guy I know into mountain climbing spends more than I do on his hobby, in spite of having so many friends in the industry he gets practically everything with a 90% discount, and don't get me started on my younger brother and his cars.

zeogold: Have you literally never heard of sales? GOG has sales just like Steam does, but, also just like Steam, certain games go on sale only at certain times. Almost all digital game stores are like this, dude.

If you STILL have a problem with the price point even on top of that, the fault is the publisher's, not the store's.
