rtcvb32: Could be worse. Could be a $60 game plus always online-drm, plus a season pass, loot boxes, microtransactions and DLC in order to get the 'full experience'......

drmike: Try Train Simulator 2016.

Three grand.

edit: Oops, it;s $7,663 now for the 2018 version:

Wow.

I read your post, and my first thought is "For three grand, I'd better be getting a flipping real life, full size train. And for 7.5 grand, it had better be delivered to my front yard in pristine condition."

So I check the linked page, and I can't see where it is anything close to that. Only a little over 100.

Then I finally locate the DLC link. I start scrolling, and "wow that's a lot of DLC". Then I keep scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling, and "holy crap, that is a LOT of DLC!!", and still scrolling, and scrolling, and...

tinyE: Tokyo Xanadu is $60 there too.
To be fair, paying 60 bucks for some weeb JRPG is pretty awful.

tinyE: I would never pay $60 for a game.
No problem. You can have it for $80.

Anyway, my suggestion to the OP is:

1. Don't buy the game.
2. Get a better job.

Or both.
