AlienMind: Considering that logic you would be forbidden in aussieland to show a documentary about why drugs are bad.
no, because of context and portrayal

FiatLux: Get the game on GOG when available (I can't imagine GOG not selling it to Aussies) :

If it gets banned, it will also stop being available here, just like Hotline Miami 2 and Saints Row 4.

you gotta be a pretty strong hardass to not see the context of the game about an authoritan society and in which people try to escape from that fact by taking drugs.

Considering we're talking about Australia in this thread, I thought that would be obvious.

Then you better buy it fast and download it if/when it gets available if you live in Australia ;-) :-D

Or make friends with a yank or brit who can gift you the title here

There are always ways... I have Hotline Miami 2 here and on Steam / as weil as the uncensored version of Saints Row 4 and had L4D2 uncensored on it's release... not after the "watered down" R18 rating came into effect

In fact I make it a point to acquire any banned game on principle - just to stick it to our government

One of my only failures has been Valkyrie Bhikkhuni (spelling) - didn't get that before Steam shut up shop - and regional gifting is disabled ><

For what it's worth an Australian just won the Indy 500. :D

I picked the guy to win it the last five years and nothing. This year I abstained and now he's drinking milk . :D

Hell of a race driven and a victory well earned.
No longer banned in Australia:

Hi all,

After considering our appeal to get We Happy Few reviewed for classification, the Australian Classification Review Board has decided to allow the release of We Happy Few in Australia!

We went to a great deal of effort to get this decision overturned. We Happy Few will be rated R18+ in Australia.

We are extremely pleased with the decision of the board and excited that our Australian fans and new players will be able to experience We Happy Few without modification.

We want to thank everybody who got involved in the discussion, contacted the board and sent us countless messages of support. Your involvement made a huge difference.

paladin181: I don't understand the mentality of "It offends the old shits in the government, so you should also be offended. It's ok, we'll keep you from being offended so you don't have to."
By this logic they have to ban 1/3 of all books too. But them asshats ain't.
