[This actually happened last night, but I'm still happy about it today :D]

I happened to see that Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3 is AU$48.99 at ozgameshop so I decided to have a look at the Corel site for the Ultimate version

They had it for AU$99... bit pricey and seeing as I know us Australians get arseraped without lube in relation to game/software prices, I changed the location at the top to United States

I was shocked to see the price was US$29.99. Wow, just wow. They were trying to charge me 3 times the price, the greedy sods

So I added it to the cart, signed up with my Australian details and paid for it and guess what, they let me pay using the US$ amount XD

So yeah, I saved $70 and I'm a very happy person ATM
Waking up next to my wifes smiling face. :)
Played Super Smash Bros. Brawl with a friend for a few hours and played it in some really goofy ways. Got some serious giggles out of it, like when I smashed a Waddle Dee farther than Sandbag in the Home Run Contest. Go figure!
Today I went to a flea market because my gf wants to sell some stuff there. While she was putting on her table, I noticed there were lots of (mostly very old) PC and console games being sold.

Most of the stuff for PCs I either already had, remembered that GoG or DE probably has it, or wasn't just interested. Anyway, I grapped two games:

- Terra Nova (PC, 2€)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyA_evTJMRs

It had only the CD, but it seems to be in mint condition. The thing is that I used to own this game already, but sold it or gave it away at some point after completing it. I've been searching for it ever since because I wanted to replay it once more, but now I grapped it eventually.

At some point I did get an "unofficial" version from the net, but it was a rip without any movies, and frankly I still preferred getting the original.

This time I'll keep it. :)

- Halo 2 (XBox, 4€)

I played Halo 1 through on PC some years ago (it was... ok...), but skipped Halo 2 because IIRC Microsoft made it a "Vista only"-game, which I found very stupid, but I guess they were trying to push that crappier-than-XP Vista OS to everyone.

So now I bought the XBox version, and the funny thing is that this is actually the first game I've ever bought (and thus is going to play) for my XBox, which I bought already many many years ago. :) I guess I bought the XBox and modded it in order to get a kick-ass DVD/multimedia player, but frankly it wasn't that good for that purpose after all (too big, too clunky, too noisy...).

It must be noted that the XBox Halo 2 DVD is much much more scuffed than PC Terra Nova, which just goes to show how different PC and console gamers are... Anyway, the scratches on the Halo 2 DVD seem so small and superficial that I expect it to run ok. I guess I'll see later today. If not, well, it was 4€, I decided to take a change this time. And I actually have also a repair kit to fix scuffed CDs and DVDs, I might try that also.

Anyway, my first XBox game! <3 <3 <3

I teach, I have a boss who likes me, I live in an affordable - and totally fun - city, I have an awesome family, gamer friends, we all want for nothing [as in necessities], and (of course) I get regular sex...

Yeah this. I just earned $50 today so that's more icing on the cake.
Decided to try and add some milk to my scrambled eggs and use a slightly different technique for scrambling them. Best decision of the day (and a great breakfast, too!).

Also, there is a good chance I just learned how to make my own bread. I guess I'll find out when the dough rises and I can actually bake it...

Also, found a stray kitten a few days ago. Seems to be a mix of a siamese and perhaps a norwegian forest cat (at least to my eye). Cute as hell, probably hasn't got more than a month and it's currently running around the room making funny faces. Kitties!
...Ummm... Manly kitties...?

You are gonna have one talkative, playful cat on your hands! Love Wegies and siamese are cool too (tho they never shut up ;) ).
Taking the clothes off the clothes line out the back, and seeing the landlord's girlfriend (they live upstairs) wander into the driveway and wave and smile to me on the way into the house - she is mega friendly, very cute, nice personality AND..a nice butt and legs ...hahahahahha
Throwing in a fat dip and starting a replay of Baldur's Gate with all the mods working beautifully.

Small delights, I guess.
I found a pack of tri tip steak at the back of the freezer, had it for dinner with some steamed cauliflower, that made me happy.
1) They had a Criminal Minds I hadn't seen yet on TV.

2) When playing Flatout, I repeatedly had a problem catching up to the leader of the pack for a track (which for some reason was always the same car) and always came in second. On my last attempt, I forced him to collide with a wall, he flew out of his car, got hopelessly behind and the rest of the race was easy so I finally finished first.

3) The spider behind the toilet bowl was gone so I didn't have to evict it when I cleaned the bathroom.

4) I came up with a good idea that helped reduced the implementation complexity of the AI in my game without any loss in complexity for the end-user.

Actually sat down to organize my student loans and thankfully be in a position where it is not a strain to start paying them back a bit early.
My friend suddenly invited me to join the bowling league tonight since his teammates are out, due to the illness.

I had great experience since I had never bowled in league before so it was a lot of pressure. But I was very consistent with my scores kept going up in successive games, even if my scores are very low compared to other people. But I only did it to challenge myself, that's all.

It was good times. :D
Having a great barbeque with my family tonight. Any driving with my car home, because I recently got my driving liscence.

:D
