Zeyes: One aspect of the summer sale we've yet to see is the flash sales going into overdrive on some days, i.e. more games cycling in at once. (Was 6 instead of 2 back then.) Wonder if we'll get something like that for the weekend?
If I recall, the going into hyperdrive with the flash deals happened in the middle of the sale, the same day as the bundle bonanza (every single bundle both past and future available).

Maybe it was raised on the official thread, but I guess if I sit here and refresh this I may as well ask here.

Have you noticed any strange stuff with time counters? I refreshed main page at 20:20 and the counter on Overlord was showing 38 minutes left. Right now I si 31:30, but after another refresh it goes straight to 29:20.

Yes, I have. I've seen a couple of deals appear as Expired and then get some extra seconds after I refresh.

Yes, the counters desync badly for me, too, although I'm not sure if it's browser-related (Chrome here) or something with the way the pages are coded.

How's the clock on your computer? Is the time/date fairly accurate? That could also mess with timing of the flash sale.

foxworks: How's the clock on your computer? Is the time/date fairly accurate? That could also mess with timing of the flash sale.
The internal clock runs fine, and after reloading the front page the deal counters are also accurate again. It's just that without frequent refreshing, the counters will drift off by up to 3 minutes (in either direction!) compared to the actual time.

Hmm, interesting...I just tested things out by refreshing the front page every five seconds or so, and every time the counter for the current main flash deal jumped back to 10:53, until after the 10th or so refresh it jumped directly to 09:48.

Yeah, frequent refreshing seems to take the clocks back a couple of seconds for me too.

And I crosschecked on poor, old IE - works fine there ;) Seems that it is browser related (Opera is my default and it uses same engine that Chrome does)
