Niggles: ]...]

raid your piggy bank ;)
Poor piggy bank was already raided as I got hit with unexpected expenses (taxes) I must pay till the end of the year, so I need to be conservative here if I want to partake in the Winter Sale as well. (~_^)

LynetteC: All I'll say is keep an eye open for the next BBBBoB.
Oh Lynette, why do you throw temptations my way?

yyahoo: I've done no formal analysis, but the discount percentages on the Fall Sale so far seem to be superior to what we were seeing even on the insomnia sales.
I'm doing the list of discounts in these flash sales vs the Summer Sale as the format is similar. I can add the Insomnia's for the sake of curiosity.

apehater: this ether one flash sale is an attenpt to get us to buy the deluxe version.

It is discounted.

And some of us enjoy extras such as soundtracks and comics.

of course, i dont deny that. but i would prefer to see both versions on the flash sale
Does anyone know if Ether One has any replay value, or do you just pick one 'track' or the other and once is it?
I like the idea of it but the trailer makes it look a bit 'creepy' which is really not my thing. :O
Dustforce - $1.99 (80%). Next is Kentucky Route Zero Season Pass.
I'm curious about the (upcoming) discount for Kentucky Route Zero. Hopefully it's in the 80% range. :)

Doubtful. I would guess at the very best 60%, with a better estimate at 50%.

I finished the game some months ago.

There'e only one track for the story. You can play the game as a walk simulator or as an adventure game. It has many puzzles, but they are almost all optional. I experienced a bug of an item disappearance, and a huge cube glitch of an item, even though I had installed the patch. I had no problem to finish the game though.

My approach was to solve as many puzzles as I could. Replayability exists if you don't do everything the first time and you want to solve more puzzles later. You gain more clues about what's going on, but there is no impact regarding the story.

A few days ago a new installer was added on gog, which states that it doesn't have these problems.

I enjoyed the game and surely I recommend it at this price.

I was wondering the same thing - looks like it's never been discounted by more than 50% on GOG.

It has a base discount of 25% and not 50% like most of the games.
I'm not feeling a 80% coming, I'd say 66% at most.

Not just on GOG. It's been the same case with other stores.
