I don't understand, he must have a different agenda like providing a better solution since people will expect this now.

I wish I had the power to listen these guys (marketing departments) when they have their meetings. I bet they're insulting they're costumers every meeting.

there is difference in making the game around money making or the money making around the game.
Just like there is difference in making game last as long as "the story needs" vs making annual edition just for the sake of it.
ohwell, atleast i am not into mobile gaming so suppose i am safe from the worst. for now.
---
btw having those chests or whatever in Assassins creed unity, which you could only access via microtransaction mid game are kinda daring. unless i am totally misinformed ofcourse. Anyways, ive only played and completed the first one so not going to check it out any time soon :D

awesome!
actually the biggest thing i have against the current super-monetization of games. It means stricter content control. Basically zero modding and community patching.
I mean, it would be so wrong if users made maps for say cod x and wouldnt buy dlc map packs because of that? or gasp, not buy the next annual cod because the older cod x was still thriving thanks to modding?
anyways, apparently thats the way they think.
"uniform gameplay experience on consoles and pc" - rright.

sorry for all the rant. i am in that mood again.

Do we have to be expert lip readers now?
But still, meh. Ubisoft treating its customers like shit has been par for course for the longest time now. Even before UbiDRM there was Tages. This is just another sign that Ubisoft are beyond redemption. How many signs do you even need?

Make $200 out of a customer? Well, Ubisoft... Learn from EA and Mass Effect:
1. make stuff that's important for the story
2. cut it out of the game and make it DLC
3. NEVER release any GotY-, Complete-, or Ultimate-Editions
4. NEVER do a sale on your DLC
Easy...

My friends, if I ever pay around $60 for an Ubisoft game, just shoot me.

Somehow the conclusion that Ubisoft in order to make money has to milk their loyal fanbase and customers harder rather than offering games everyone wants, or offering good PC ports somehow just makes me question them. Similar to Activision milking the Guitar Hero franchise until suddenly they realized they couldn't sell more because their customers weren't made of money.
Well i guess it could be worse. They could be like Florida state who's currently, making collecting rain water, feeding homeless people, and living off the grid illegal...

They might have well been farmers who are talking how to increase the yield when milking the herd.
Then again, the AAA gaming community keeps buying games from Ubishit, Electronic Assholes, Craptivision and the like, so they think they must be doing something right.... right?
