"Sees that Empire Total War is the giveaway"

:D

"Sees that its a HumbleBundle code"

:(

But I am still in for the game. I want it because I feel that the Total War games mabye strategy games for me.

My problem with Warcraft, Command and Conquer, even Turned Based Strategy like HOMM is because it does not truly feel like I am commanding a HUGE ARMY and sending them in Big 1000 vs 1000 battles. Like the Intro to Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos shows thousands of Orcs and Humans clashing with each other. In game just 20 stong units to attack a base.

Total War really emphasis that Massive Warfare with Massive Armies clashing against each other.

I like this Musket/Cannon firingline style+ Naval Ship style Warfare along with Medieval Warfare. Though I would rather have Medieval II Total War I am content with this is Warfare.

Also how do you properly described the type of Warfare being done in this game?

Medieval has legions of Knights on Horseback and Foot Soldiers/Pikemen aswell as Archers and Catapults provdiing ranged cover.

Especially Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight because that one's a technical bitch.

Dark Forces 1 isn't all that technically sound either.

On Steam When you start the game and is in the Main Menu/Mission Select there is delay that last I think minute before an action can function.

Also there is Graphical Isssues. Alt tabbing the game can screw up the colors like how playing Diablo 1 is like without patching the colors.

Also the framerate is lower than it should unless this is vestige of it being runned on DOSBox.

Hm, don't remember any big issues with the Steam version. But I ended up using my own DOSBox installation to play it instead anyway. It's funny, btw, this one has some sort of DRM. I had to to place some file from the CD-ROM image on the C drive.

If I do, do I get Star Wars: Empire at War for gog?

I am not sure it is worth it, but I will consider taking one for the team.
