So I am not bothered by my own blood - yeah it sucks being the Bride of Dracula when you are pregnant (every MD visit seems to require 5-6 tubes of blood...) but when it comes to one's own children - THAT is a completely different story altogether.

So when my son was little, he got pretty sick and we had to take him to the emergency room. The doctors looked like they were 12 years old and they had to draw some of his blood... yeah, I needed to sit down cause I was gonna faint!

Have you ever felt faint? It's when no blood goes to your head - just a little fact ;-p

Happened to me once, fainted and faced the corner of a wood bench in front of me. Almost broke my nose and lost a eye. Oh and there was lots and lots of blood, and it wasn't even a deep wound.

Oh the joys of my childhood!

Oh it actually happens quite often to us males, that's how we practice retaining control of such situations see.

My fave blood-related incident was when I was asked if I was okay with having this trainee nurse taking my blood sample. There was blood all over, and it was all quite fun!

This is not an additional entry:

This thread seems to have left an impression on me. I've had 3 dreams involving blood since it opened. One I do not remember, one is too disgusting to post about and here is the other:

I was drinking from a glass when a loud noise startled me and I took a bite of the glass. I did not feel any pain but I bled at lot and continuously spat out pieces of glass, a lot more than could have come from that single bite.

First, thank you all for sharing your (in most cases rather painful, although that's quite obvious) stories in this bloody giveaway. It seems that most of you are not afraid of blood at all (that's good), but of needles instead (I can somehow relate to this, I'm not afraid, but don't like those small devil's devices). :D

Anyway, it was hard to decide (too bad I have only 1 copy of each game :I), but I chose these winners:

Blood freaks me out a bit when I see it on other people, especially people that I know. It doesn't bother me much when it's on me. In my college years I accidentally cut into a major artery in my thumb and ran to the bathroom to get toilet paper to wrap it up. My friends told me that afterwards it looked like someone was murdered in the bathroom lol. The whole experience didn't bother me much at all, but I think it would've have if it had happened to a friend.

On the plus side, the nurse at the hospital was super hot :D
