Dr.M. has stolen our marketing plans, taken our game masters, absconded with our video trailers, and pilfered our contracts! Coala suggests that we should track down the evil Dr., but how in the world can we do that? We know that he has our "Get HUGE" formula, and we suspect that Dr. M. is going to the headquarters of our next publisher--and we know it's one of the five we've already mentioned in our CDP Days Conference this Spring. One of our clever developer guys pointed out that the only way that Dr. M. could have found GOG's secret headquarters (as opposed to our regular, non-secret one) would be to have put a tracking device somewhere. We've tracked Dr. M's tracker (ha! Take that, evil!) and we're plotting his location on a world map with each of our possible upcoming publishers' locations in them. Keep tuned for more updates as we triangulate on the signal and try to track down...the DASTARDLY DR. M.!

the mysterious Dr. M. made his appearance was way back in September, when we re-launched and moved the service out from the beta. Now, with the big announcement quickly approaching, it seems that Dr. M. has come out of the shadow once again. What's he up to this time? Find out more in the tale of great horror, entitled "Dr. M. & The Dastardly Doom". What horrors await? What grim future is coming to GOG.com?

We'll be posting the next pages of the comic in the next days so stay tuned to this news post as the story will reveal more info on Dr. M. and the secret briefcase!

I'm guessing the clues are pointing at this: the gog.com & CD Project RED conference

It has E3, 2/6 and LA in it.

Cook: As for Carmagedon, if that will be the case we'll definitely let you guys know about it. Of course via an official announcement and some teasing before that happens ;p
I have an idea for a Carmageddon teaser.

How about a simple flash game released on the main page, as a clue, in which players are driving a car and they have to smash Dr. M, who's trying to escape by using DRM bombs? (bombs are optional)

I really like Dr. M and I hope he'll be back from time to time.

There's isn't a 3 in the image.
Er staat geen 3 op het plaatje :P

EDIT: YOU GOT IT I THINK, There are 3 E's in it, so 3 E's = E3, date is 2/6 and it is in LA! You got it man!

Also true, but you can also say that there are 3 E's, so E3 :P Both are possible =D!
Although I think it's Lucas Arts, the last page could also hint to 2K Games.
They moved office from NY to CA in 2007.
I have two theories:
1)I don't know program of E3. Does each of the Big three have presentation on 6 June?

2)
Electronic- EA
LA-Lucas arts
so we throw away 2K.

mrkgnao: It's a well known effect of Dr. M's death ray that it causes all people in the vicinity (i.e. GOG employees) to be rather poor at geography (hopefully temporarily).
Apparently it's not so temporary; now New York City is in northern Maine!

Well the clue is obviously E3 so that's it no more teasing till tomorrow I guess so we are still stuck with Lucasarts, EA and 2K. Of course the teasing could have started at the announcement conference when they said they hoped to sign three publishers... maybe they already signed those three and the 25+ games are just the ones ready to go from all three?

It's a nice thought anyway.
I recently purchased physical copies of the missing LucasArts adventures from my collection (just without Zak McKracken now), so it only stands to reason that GOG will be signing LA so I can regret those purchases.

I sure hope whoever is supposed to present tomorrow at E3 is able to find Los Angeles and doesn't end up in Nevada, say. Perhaps some forum member living in LA should volunteer to serve as a guide (kind of like a "seeing eye gog").

Didn't New York, Seattle and the Grand Canyon feature in Sam & Max Hit The Road???
Obviously the announcement tomorrow is that they will announce their announcement at E3 on 2/6 in LA.
