Ok so after having bought the new Humble Bundle I've come to realise that I have an overwhelming quantity of unplayed indie games (to go alongside my overwhelming quantity of unplayed retail :P).... So what indie games you've gotten from bundles, or seen in bundles, would you class as must play?

(Doesn't matter if they're not uber indie e.g Shank)
I feel most indies are overrated. A lot of them get bonus credit just because they are indies resulting in buying remorse and or disappointment. The ones i really enjoyed (that just pop up in my head right now) are Rochard, binding of isaac, aquaria and Limbo. And everything from Frozenbyte and Frictional games.

Edit: don't know if considered indie: Plants vs Zombies and Hard Reset

What's the draw of Aquaria? I've played half an hour or so of it a couple of times and didn't get it or get into it. I agree on some fronts with what you've said but there are some genuine gems too.

It's really beautiful (sound, music and graphics), and a fun underwater metroid without all the complaint of other underwater games. The game only gets going after more then an hour so you should give it another go. It get a lot more intense and hectic and engaging then the first half hour lets you belief.
Thanks I'll give it another go sometime soon.
Bastion is fantabulous. Go play it immediately.
Yup, definitely Aquaria. The first time I played it, I abandoned it very early, too. When I gave it a second chance several months later I got really hooked on it and played it for hours and hours. I got very close to the ending, too, I just didn't beat the final boss yet, argh.

At first, when I saw the regular price I thought it was expensive, but it's totally worth it. And if you got it from the HIB, it's a steal. The least you owe the developers is to play their game. Now. ;)

Wadjet Eye's adventure games are very good. I've played a couple of the Blackwell games and Gemini Rue. I hear great things about Resonance.
Aquaria does not really get interesting until you've found your first real attack (dropping things on enemies don't count).

I can pretty much sign this.

Hard Reset is a must play for every person who only slightly likes shooters.

Which is a good start. Rather short, not to hard and simply fun!

Btw, get a gamepad, if you don't have one. Many indies are designed for XBL and PSN, so a gamepad helps a lot.

Gazoinks: Bastion is fantabulous. Go play it immediately.
Unless, like me, you happen to not like the narrator's voice... then you'd probably find it just a short and repetitive hack&slash with a weird back story.

Actually, even without the narrator it has a fascinating story about responsibility, dealing with loss and moving forward. Honestly, this game had many great ideas. I was very surprised.

I've just about completed it. Should finish it today. Don't know why it was criticized for being short, I've been playing and enjoying it for a decent amount of time.

I have Hard Reset, played a bit of it but didn't enjoy it too much. I will go back to it sometime though and I have the Xbox 360 Windows controller... definitely essential for some stuff :).
The Real Texas. It's one of this year's sleeper hits. If you like any classics like Zelda, Ultima, etc, and you like funny games, you owe it to yourself to get TRT.

EDIT: Oh, and I haven't played it yet, but I hear Cryptozookeeper is fantastic. And it's free.

EDIT2: And Digital: A Love Story and Analogue: A Hate Story.

And Binding of Isaac.

EDIT3: Oh...from bundles. In that case, ignore the first two. I thought it was just "essential indie games". Oops lol.
