what is your favorite sport (that is, if you watch any) ??? which team you chose to follow, and why???
Formula 1, WRC, rugby, football and a lot of tennis.
i am surprised so few people like watching sports!
Football Support a local team called Nairn County Football Club
Formula 1 from time to time
Basketball. I played when I was a teenager (I'm 32 now) and tried getting back into it earlier this year but my legs / feet are not what they used to be and injuries started piling up so I decided it wasn't really worth it for sth that was just supposed to be some spare time fun. Still love watching it though, and have been following the Boston Celtics for years.
Rugby the game for hooligans played by gentlemen :)

"Which team"? Are you talking about team sports only?

I am not big in watching sports from TV. Watching football/soccer, ice hockey etc. just bores the heck out of me. The same for track and field sports.

I sometimes liked to watch boxing, UFC/MMA etc., but oddly I've started to become squeamish at least about MMA the recent years, ie. I'm starting to think it is actually stupid that people would willingly hit each others to head etc., try to hurt each others. I just don't enjoy watching it that much anymore, it has become a bit too brutal over time.

The odd thing is that I actually do martial arts and a bit of MMA myself too, but I am not competing, just dabbling and "roleplaying". So I still enjoy watching MMA fights purely from a technical point of view, especially when they are wrestling, trying to anticipate what will be the next move and how the other guy will try to counter it (based on what I know). But I don't enjoy the hurting part anymore. :)

Over a decade ago I keenly watched Formula One racing for a couple of years, though. Mainly because there was a Finnish driver who was winning races left and right. Häkkinen vs. Schumacher, oh mi god!

I lost interest after Häkkinen (and Schumacher) retired, and after the local TV stations moved the F1 races to pay-channels.

Let me guess: you watch football (soccer) right? Anything else besides that? :)

why you say that?
The Pirates suck!
Does drinking count. Im pretty sure if it does its Scotland's national sport
Love the NFL and this year the Broncos, because of Manning.
Football (I support Arsenal F.C.), Rugby League & Union, Athletics & Formula One.

I don't follow any particular team/individual in the other sports.

Because you are from South America, and I think everyone there is crazy about football. I know it is racist to think so, but so is thinking that all Finnish people can dance tango. We don't, honest!

Ps. I didn't downrep you. I vote with my wallet, not with buttons.

Baseball is the only sport I really enjoy. I'm pretty addicted to it, and right now is playoff time so it's really exciting. I have three teams in the playoffs this year! I root for cities I have lived in: Tampa Bay, Oakland, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

American football is alright, I watch it sometimes. I'm not that into it though, too many injuries and penalties and I dislike how it's more about the clock than turns.

Same thing with basketball.

Don't like hockey at all.

I want to try soccer/football more in the future, but it's pretty non-existent here.
