Fenixp, I was almost convinced to pay 5 euro for Dragon Age 2. But then I found out about DLCs.

22 euros for 3 DLCs????? 8 for Mark of the Assassin ,8 for Legacy and 5,6 for The Exiled Prince. And I heard Legacy is quite crucial??. Unfortunatelly, for that price I could get 4-5 games at 4-5 euros each: Tomb Raider 2013, Crysis 3, Dishonored, Batman Origins, Torchlight 2, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman Absolution and so on.

If Bioware points will go on sale I'll reconsider (mainly for Mass Effect 2 and 3 DLCs).

Meanwhile the pirates are playing those just fine, I guess.

Kardwill: Not in Ultima3, my first CRPG. It was more "Oh shit, a dragon on the overland map. Runrunrunrun toward the city, oh crap I won't make it!"

But yeah, in many dungeon explorer like Wizardry, enemies appeared out of thin air. "24 Fire Giants? In an underground corridor? And I didn't see them coming?"

Elmofongo: Don't get your hopes up for a reply. SimonG has not been in the Forums for a long time now.

I already miss him along with orcishgamer and Roman5
Holy smoke, I didn't see the timestamp on this message. Ooops?

Legacy is as crucial to Dragon Age story as Arrival is for Mass Effect. Well, that's what I think anyway, can't really explain more in order to avoid spoilers. Like, major spoilers.

I hate spoilers.

Meh, I have never purchased a single piece of DLC and never felt like I missed a thing.

Oh yeah, that's how I got persuaded to purchase Arrival. Not only it was terrible, I also managed to completely forget its story significance in Mass Effect Trilogy sooo... It might not be quite that essential :-P
BTW, I know this is a silly question but I grabbed DA: O when it was free on Origin, there's no way of picking up the DLC in Steam sales and getting it to work or cross-registering the Origin version on Steam is there?
Cheers

Get Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition, it's sold on Steam and yes, it will unlock all DLC on the Origin version as well.

Ah yeah - the DLC doesn't even seem to come separately anymore, never mind then, cheers!
I'd say to get the Exiled Prince. It adds to the story, especially when it comes to Anders. The items...meh...

For DA2 there are three important DLC's that will carry into DAI: Legacy (most important), Mark of the Assassin (not that imnportant, but still carries on to the DAI) and The Exiled Prince (which will carry some stuff, but it's not available in the DA: Keep, unless you import the saves from DA2)
