Eyeball: Thats what I thought also, but I did learn about dosbox so it was not a total loss. However, any ideas about how to slow down the game in windows??

Blackwolf117: Eyeball: I managed to get dos box set up. Having the following problem: Red Baron game is under directory Sierra\RedBaron3d. I got dosbox to recognize the directory Sierra but when I backslash for redbaron3d where the executible is I get directory not found. Also when I get sierra directory and then check contents I only see about 6 files one of which is the setup file. When I run this setup file I get the message that this is a windows program. Also when i attempted to backslash to the redbaron3d subdirectory I was told that the name was longer than 8 characters. I then went back in and changed the name of RedBaron3d to just RedBaron, but dos box told me the directory did not exist. Any further ideas on this problem??

eyeball226: Well, looking this game up I see that it is a windows game so I'm afraid DOSBox isn't going to help you here.

I was mislead when you said "It can be started from DOS however". If it really is a windows game then you won't be able to run it in DOS and therefore DOSBox won't help. Sorry!

Blackwolf117:
I suppose you could try setting the process to a ridiculously low priority, then perhaps fire up something else to keep your CPU busy.

Hmm, just had a thought. Do you have a multi-core processor?
