lackoo1111: why GOG advertising this site on the front page ?
avatar
Tantrix: I see that aswell...WHAT THE HELL?!

If you are referring to the link to the "popular discussion" of it, they are not actually adverting it and it is our fault that it appears there. That thread, even though closed, has 108 posts in it, making it the second most popular topic this week. We put it there, not GOG.

Because the thread became "popular"... ie. it became a flame war?
Stop posting about this. Let this thread die, please.
The basic premise is that the guy who started it is in a load of legal trouble. He needs to pay for a lawyer.
Make of that what you will and please don't advertise it anymore and just let this thread die.
i'd like to ask GOG to remove it from there

I'd quite like to know if I should do anything to protect my money (now) knowing I've given some over to a scammer, is there any way he could some how get more from my account?

The German GBA (copied from Gamedealers, another scam site of Jochen) says you won't get your money back unless if a force majeur happens for 30 days.
The only way to get your money back is to forcefully refund your payment trhough the bank.
EDIT: If you'll excuse me, I'll be buy Aztaka from the developer's homepage. Gotta make sure they don't get financially ruined by this.

Ashkc88: I read on IndieGames.com that people aren't getting their bundles after paying. They, too, seem to think this whole thing is fishy.

Wishbone: In the interest of minimizing misinformation, I'll just mention that they have, in fact, updated their story. Now they say that people are actually receiving their bundles.

Yes, but the developers are still not being paid.
"UPDATE: Since posting about this bundle, it has come to light that the individual behind it has quite a colourful background and the bundle may not be legit. The games are being sent out to purchasers, however the developers are not 100% sure that they will be receiving their share of the money.
Hence, both Daniel Kaplan of Ludosity (Bob Came in Pieces) and Ron Tuo (Gravitron 2) have emailed me to state that they are no longer supporting this bundle, and are advising people not to purchase it. Whether this does turn out to be a scam or not, they both feel that said individual has not handled the situation well at all, and would rather not be a part of it."
THAT SITE IS TOTALLY LEGIT
I've updated the first post with all the currently available developments.
That way this thread will serve as a warning.
It's not "OFFICIALLY A SCAM" though. Just "HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS".
I'd like to hear the site's owner version...

Please, no. We've heard quite enough of that, I think.

Just thought I would share a little update.
I have received an email from Jochen, he refuses to remove my game from the bundle and reckons I will be hearing from his lawyer.
Look at Jochen's last answer:
"I am thinking to end the Project because some TRolls are finished what they wanted. Now some Publisher warn for the Project and want not longer work with us.
I dont know what the Problem of 12 Year old Storys and i dont want which Lies the Trolls had told, but this is not a Project for Scam. "
