ie first test shots are released : it looks great ! no shitty friend nomelodramu no annoying cutscenes or superlfuous additiosn to the game play
its seen in motion : looks even better !
release dat closing in : even better !

release day : oh god what the fuck is this shit ?! its awful glitchty sonic doesnt run he waddles and there are 40 billion cutscenes and super fluous characters
ill never buy a fucking sonic game again
new sonic game is announced
rinse and repeat from 2001 to 2010

from 1991 to 1994 sonci games were pretty good
then suddenly the quality started to sag
sonic adventure was rough but okay
it was with sonic adventure 2 that the rot set in and heroes is just awfull
the absolute nadir is sonic 2006 it was supposed to be his 15th celeberation
it was more like nailling the lid down
the game was buggy had copious loading times
sonic fel through the enviroment
the game just crashed
the controls were floaty
the camera flakey
the save system obnoxious
it was a disaster

Well, another clssic. Seems like they don´t know how to improve. Games like golden axe should be seen like something normal this days, not special at all.

There is something truly noble about developers who creates a game which they can never charge money for, due to the obvious copyright violation.
Anyway, the article is from 2011, and it looks like games website went offline somewhere at the end of 2013.

Sega has sold a few Dreamcast games on Steam. Mostly Sonic though. Meaning some of the bad ones. And Crazy Taxi. Golden Axe was my jam back in the day though.
EDIT: Also, be careful what you ask for. People wanted new Altered Beast stuff too.... And we know how THAT turned out. :(

so i am not going to bad mouth an fans honest remake and hard work
its just not official so that makes me less interested
