Updates to Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode Two have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
Half-Life 2
Added support for Mac
Added Steam Cloud support for save games
Added new achievements
Improved graphical effects
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Added support for Mac
Added Steam Cloud support for save games
Added new achievements
Improved graphical effects
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Added support for Mac
Added Steam Cloud support for save games

Me likes! Time to play HL2 again it seems.

I think they are the same as console versions of The Orange Box.

Okay... what I meant was, if you have already done whatever it is to complete an achievement, will you automatically get it after the update or do you have to accomplish it again?

No, you must play the game again to get achievements.

Same here... apart than "Improved graphical effects" (even though I doubt it will really be anything major) nothing really interesting...

It has been updated to the Source 2007 version, or the one that is used by EP2, afaik.

I've already got the massive Cinematic Mod, so this update probably won't affect me much. But it's nice to see it (finally*) happen.
*Consoles have had an updated HL2 & Ep1 since Orange Box.

i finished hl2 three times and i don't want to play it again. ever. that includes the episodes.
