The game looks interesting, actually. I am not sure if I'll actually play it, but I have to admit I am curious how they plan to handle the "turn-based MMO" shtick. As others have noted, other game developers have tried and failed at this.
As for the potential of it being a micro-payment type deal, I actually prefer that method to the monthly subscription method. I have played a few 'free' games with the micro-payment option for items and such and I felt it allowed me to customize my experience better. I can still limit myself to $15 a month (or whatever), but at least I get to choose what I am paying for (a new cloak, sword, levels, whatever).
Is 'rape' a bad word now? I know it is is a bad 'action', but does the word itself need to be partially asterisked out? I don't see many folks asterisking out parts of the word 'murder', and that is, arguably, a worse crime...
stonebro: All while they're spewing out fecal matter like Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and Settlers 7
Hey, I liked Assassin's Creed II. The major argument against it, I thought, was the POS DRM strategy that was used, not the game itself. I played the game on the PS3, and I quite enjoyed it. As for the other two, never played them (or any games from their respective franchises), so I have no idea on the quality of those games.
