undeadcow: Can anyone confirm is the Good Friends Character Pack [for Bit.Trip Runner2] and "Bonus Content" for Electronic Super Joy are included in the DRM-free editions? I purchased the bundle regardless but can't download now; it seems like the extra content perks are Steam only at a glance.
I'm not sure about Runner2, but regarding Electronic Super Joy: "Comes with a separate Steam key for the Bonus Content Pack which includes bonus levels and soundtracks."

I'm starting to think they throw the best games in the first one. The last daily bundle was the same way. Got the 1st one ignored the rest.

I just tried.
Electronic Super Joy soundtracks and "Groove City" addon are available as drm free downloads too, the Bonus DLC and the Bonus for Runner 2 is Steam only. -.-

Yay for DRM-free and soundtracks. Only a couple games of interest for me (Full Bore and Tiny Barbarian DX), and I already have the first. But might pick up the bottom tier for the second and the OSTs.

So, have you played Full Bore?

Your recommendations have been a good match with my tastes so far. (I'm over 80% in Escape Goat, thanks again!)

I have not played it yet, but would be glad to try it out tonight to give you some feedback on it. I'm pleased to know that my dubious opinions are of some use. :D (And well done on your Escape Goat progress! That game really is a stand-out title to me.)

I'm preparing to grab the bottom tier of this bundle, with a little extra money tossed to charity. If you'd like the Full Bore Steam key, I'd be happy to pass that along to you, with the provision that you then share your impressions with the forum, as I have found your own comments to be useful as well. Just let me know!
Nice bundle.

Any opinions on NEStalgia? It looks good, but is multiplayer/online; is it worth BTA? I'll probably get lower tier.
That's a good one for me because I've been wanting Tiny Barbarian DX for a while, and Full Bore has gotten a lot of good reviews.
Would anyone who has tried Nestalgia care to give any impressions? Looks potentially fun, but I wouldn't be as interested if it was fully dependant on multiplayer, especially of the "massively" variety. It's described as having MMO gameplay, but also has a DRM-free edition and single player. Does anyone know if the Steam version has to be used for any multiplayer? Is local co-op an option (it's not listed as one on the Steam page, but I've found Steam to be a bit inconsistent with some of those details.)
Any thoughts on gameplay etc would be appreciated. :)

edit: question ninja'd by undeadcow. I should remember to refresh the page before posting. ;)

Despite claiming to be "DRM Free" is looks like Nestalgia requires an internet connection. The game page indicates "Requirements: Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8, DirectX 9 or higher, Internet Connection" They do mention having their own dedicated servers so not dependent on Steam, I guess you just get a non-Steam download that requires log in to Silk's servers to play. Hopefully this is incorrect, I can't confirm anything first hand.

It looks like they have a download on the webpage, maybe trial edition but going slow for me (maybe work filters) - http://silkgames.com/nestalgia/

FWIW according to Reddit: "NEStalgia has a bit of controversy attached to it. The developer allegedly "loves banning people" and does not take kindly to even the most constructive of criticism."

Nice, thanks for the info! Downloading the "Limited SP Demo" now to give it a shot. Curious how it plays and if it will play nice with Xpadder or similar gamepad software.
Eep, also good to know about the devs... Doesn't sound promising.

Well it was AVGN Adventures that convinced me to buy this bundle at all, but then I'm a huge AVGN / James Rolf fan so the BTA was worth it for me for that...

Well, just because I know you don't use Steam at all...
:-)

Thank you very much.
