I know what you mean. I wish I had the ability to work up the game with completely original graphics so that it could possibly be released here as a free game if GOG agreed. But I think that would mean about 1500 images needing to be redone... quite a daunting task.

But yes, all of the art in Kilgazar is all original. The sounds are also original or are distributed using a freeware license.

As for outlets, so far it looks like it will be through the Fascimania website probably along with Desura and maybe GamersGate. I haven't approached GG about it nor even really looked into it all that closely. I want to have a mostly finished product before doing so. I will also send a working copy to GOG to see what they have to say about it.

Price-wise, I'm thinking around $5-ish, but nothing is set in stone. If GOG were to accept the game, they have a minimum price of $5.99, which wouldn't leave me with a lot of room to negotiate, so I'd have to be sure it's worth every cent. :)

I'm hoping to work on a new preview video for it soon to demonstrate some of the new additions to the game. Not completely sure when this will be though.
I don't know where I hinted that I had stopped development, but it's definitely still in development whenever I have free time enough to do so. I was hoping to release it by year's end, but I'm not sure about that given the slow pace of development, testing, etc.
