KavazovAngel: Talking about Mass Effect, how is the first game? I wanna try some new RPG, is it really good as the reviews say?

I like to think of ME1 as light entertainment, and definitely worth playing through once or twice. I have never played any games on any console for more than a few minutes, but I would imagine that ME1 is the closest I'll get to the experience on my PC. I don't mean that as a criticism really, just that ME1 is easily accessible entertainment-on-rails.

The first is good, but the second is much better. It's definitely worth playing the first and then importing your character into the second, makes for a great overall experience.

Will do that, thanks (also thanks to Lobsang1979)! :) Once I get the money, that is. And that is after I get WoW WotLK, WoW Cataclysm, SC2, D2, WC3, 2GB more RAM for my lappy (has 4GB now), and a new Razer mouse...

I thought the first was much better. I loved exploring planets in the mako and i even thought the combat was better. I think me1 did everything better but me2 is still a great game.
YOU'RE the other one who liked the Mako!! I thought I'd find you eventually

Aliasalpha: YOU'RE the other one who liked the Mako!! I thought I'd find you eventually

The Mako sections were what sold me on ME1 in the first place - I loved exploring all the planets in ME1 with that rickety pile of bolts. I definitely felt the lack of that kind of free exploration in ME2.

bansama: They're not seriously going to ruin another game with needless multiplayer are they?

Yes they are. The movie is already confirmed, I do like cinema so I'll probably watch it. But prepare yourselves for the milking after mass effect 3.
Let me think... who publishes BioWare's titles? EA. The same publisher which convinced Crytek not to make a trilogy anymore, because they now want a partnership for moar and moar Crysis titles. Yeah... looks like EA wants to get back to the throne.
avatar
Catshade: Huh? I thought their hands were full with The Old Republic.

The old republic, dragon age 2, mass effect 3... and there's that game in the bioware's games section which I would like to know what is, titled "New Next Gen Game".
avatar
chautemoc: And if it's not I'll just play the trilogy a hundred times like I was gonna anyway.

Me too, I won't die because of it. But the more titles they make, the more time you'll wait to play mass effect 3, if they make this MP title as a spin-off.

LOL, man... I can help you. Send me a few years of free time for gaming, and I'll send you the money. hehehe
How you will play all those mentioned games? That will take yearsss... I'll stay with SC2 only, and playing it casually. :p

Given how most "new next gen game"s seem to be basically the same thing, that could very well be the final title.

I dont see why everyone hated it so much. The controls were a bit clunky but other than that i thought it was pretty fun.

That makes us three. That's a full party, isn't it?

I play WoW casually, so its not a big problem. Gonna play Diablo 2 only to finish the single player, never really go to the end. Warcraft 3, buying it only to have it in my collection, I've already finished the crap out of the game (it has one of the best stories ever told!). :)

"It should be noted this listing is for BioWare's studio in Montreal, which offered development support for Mass Effect 2. The franchise is primarily developed in Edmonton.
It's possible this could be a multiplayer expansion for Mass Effect 2, or an additional component for Mass Effect 3."

bansama: They're not seriously going to ruin another game with needless multiplayer are they?

Sure they will, because:
A) They can save costs by shortening the SP (but you're now getting MP!)
and
B) They can get people on the EA servers, thus screwing used game buyers by forcing them to pay for an online code to "enjoy" the "total" game expierence since the SP is now shorter!
EDIT: Oh, I just thought of something. EA can now sell you new MP maps every three months!
