Has anyone noticed that 1C has their own online store? Doesn't seem very user friendly, though. I just went to price Star Wolves there (which it said was available for purchase from them), but then when I tried to put it in my cart, it just took me to the generic main store page. I guess I'm just spoiled that GOG does it right. At least we can get a glimmer of what's to come from their site, like King's Bounty and ...
Ah! Here's the reason they're releasing Star Wolves. WebCopyNews From 1C's main page:
1C Company and Elite Games Team are glad to announce the development of Star Wolves 3: Ashes of Victory, a stand-alone expansion for the third game in the Star Wolves saga.
This original large-scale scenario, closely tied with the first part of the intergalactic epic, allows players to influence the ongoing events and experience multiple endings. Free roaming, free mission selection, free team forming – the world of Star Wolves waits for its heroes. The game is scheduled for release in Q4 2010.
edit: format cleanup.

This game is actually very enjoyable. But it's nothing like Eve Online or Homeworld. I'd call it a tactical action role playing game with space ships. And the music is just awesome.
It's one of the real hidden gems of the PC-market, and well worth buying.
Looks like a tactical RPG in space. Never play this, will try the demo.
Heard a little about this one, positive chatter enough to check it out. Nearly done with a few games I purchased ages ago, but I still want to get my 'to play' pile down a bit more first.
Saw it in a couple of other places, but from the description given by them I thought it was a completely different style of game and wasn't interested till I read the description here. Got interested and read around some more, definitely seems like a game I will be considering buying soon.
It's new for me this game. It seems interesting. In my wishlist.
Never heard of it, easily wishlisted (sounds like my kind of game), I'll give the demo a shot, but its going to be a while before I actually buy it, got way to many other games I haven't even started yet.
I bought it a couple months ago from another provider, but if I hadn't, this would be an instant buy. Well done, GOG!

Dear GOG,
I'm still waiting for the other Sierra releases.

I have the boxed version of this but the only thing I can remember of it is the absolutely terrible quality of the translation, it's so bad you can't work out what it's supposed to be saying at some points.
Looks like an interesting enough game. Might grab it when it's on sale or when i've got a bit more money to spend.
Sounds like sins of the solar empire to me
now there is a class game
Like many others here, I've just have too many other games on the go right now. I have to regain some control in that area first before more spontaneous buys can occur.
