Wraith: Well, my biggest request for GOG (next to System Shock 1 and 2 anyways) finally gets answered :)
Will be buying it tomorrow, for certain.

Both of those were excellent games. System Shock 2 scared the bejesus out of me, lol. Remember this:
:Alone in the hallway, nobody else around. Everything is quiet. And then from out nowhere....... SILENCE THE DISCORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you get whacked over the head by a mutant with a lead pipe.
This is especially creepy if it happens to be 3 in the morning, all the lights are off and you have your headphones right in your ears. I always use headphones rather than speakers. It does lot to improve atmosphere and immersion in the game itself and it especially effective with horror games like System Shock 2
I can't remember any of them off the top of my head, but I seem to remember thinking that some of the things that the Cyborg Midwives said were pretty damn creepy as well. Not so much what they said, but just the way they speak. They had kind of a creepy, metallic edge to their voices. I still remember getting a chill when I picked up the audio diary where the head nurse was talking about how the head doctor sent word for her to send like 10 of her nurses to him and she did, and then none of them came back. Pretty scary stuff. Brrrrrrr
EDIT- found the Cyborg Midwife quotes on WikiQuote. Here there are:
* "Little Ones need lots of meat to grow big and strong"
* "I'll tear out your spine."
* "Step away from the children!"
* "You're missing all the fun."
* "They grow up so fast."
* "Babies need meat."
* "It's my job to worry."
* "It won't be back"
* "I have your medication"
* "I can smell you"
* "Oh Yes. Come here."

Wanna shoot me with a tommy gun? ILL POKE YOU WITH A DAMN PITCH FORK -Pew Pew Pew-
I have had a huge smile on my face since this was revealed. And it's coming out today. I think I have a tear in my eye...
And please get Shadow Warrior GOG. I never got to play it first time around (to my shame) and would snap it up instantly.

KingofGnG: And I still repeat: Blood is overrated.

I won't get into the Halo debate as it's irrelevant. I just want to know on what basis you judge Blood to be "overrated". It is an incredibly fun FPS and was never meant, intended or reviewed as a genre-changer, but there most definitely hasn't been another game quite like it in the almost two decades since its release. You are literally the only person on the forum, if not the world, who thinks this.
You can think it's a bad game, or not for you, but overrated? That makes no sense. I don't think it's a Half-Life or a Halo (debate for another time and place, it still was influential), but it WAS a fun and unique game. Nothing more. Sometimes that's all games need to be.

I am so going to buy this ASAP on release!
I have two copies, but I never got the expansions when they were released and the prices for them since were pretty crazy.
I wonder if the extras will include the music video and other stuff from disc 2?

That would be great. There's supposed to be a Type 0 Negative's Love You to Death song on disc2 if I recall properly? What other bonuses are there?
If my memory serves me right, it wasn't just the song on the disc, but also the video. But the video is all over Youtube, so if you haven't seen it and it isn't included here, then watch it there, it is an excellent video for an excellent song. Buying this game back when it was released and hearing that song was what got me listening to Type O Negative and I've been a fan of them ever since.

Handshake! Ditto here man. Since then I purchased many of their CDs, one live DVD and "After Dark" Documentary+Video Clips DVD including this one. They just fit perfectly with Blood.
Well GOG, I promised you I would ;)
Blood is now a part of my happy collection of awesome.

I forget actually. I'll have to pull that disc out and take a look. It may just be backgrounds.
