THQ has published the various multiplayer bonuses preorderers will get from various merchants. Some are including a free copy of Darksiders until June 9th or until supplies run out (if ordering a boxed copy). Currently, the Collector's Edition is only available from THQ's online store, and includes yet another pack of playing cards and a replica, poly-resin "Purity Seal" with twin cloth (rather than parchment or vellum, as would be "fictionally accurate") litanies/prayers.

The bonuses range from various loyal or Chaos Chapter skins (the PC-only Steam version gives the player the unique Blood Ravens Chapter skin, direct from Relic's own DOW campaigns) , or master work "relic" weapons such as power or chainswords, or a relic bolter.

For those concerned about the game being the mess that was Fire Warrior, know that THQ is only the publisher, and Kuju was the developer. Relic is developing Space Marine, so lets hope they can make the leap from RTS to OTSS/TPM.
I must admit that I like the look of the purity seal but I also think a DIY version would be more satisfying, if nothing else you can name the specific heretics you plan to bring down the emperors vengeance upon

I presume the chapter skins would only be for multiplayer

predcon: Kuju was the developer.
It was a miracle Fire Warrior was only average. Kuju are known as purveyors of poor quality entertainment.

Gamestop have the best pre-order for real 40K fans with both Space Wolves and Black Templar skins. No one really gives a toss about the Blood Ravens.

is this the first game from THQ to have this DLC nonsense? if so it's sad to see another developer following this stupid marketing trick.

Also Darksiders is not really worth it, it's so average and bland it becomes a chore after a few hours.

Darksiders is fun, it's more for Zelda fans who like to wander alot and do alot of the same albeit with different monsters rather than fans of more traditional games of the genre....also not all DLC is bad, m'kay. :P

:)

As I said, average. Also the idea a Tau can use a Bolter un-aided is lol.

IMO, it was nice to play an alien for once and not another crap humanz must kill every other racez game.
$79 for the collectors is not too bad considering the prices that Space Hulk board game is going for.....

But a Warhammer Collectors without a figurine? Pfft......

Avatar of Kaine! Speaking of which, why on earth would you make a game about space marines when you could make one about Eldar and you could just run around as Kaine kicking arse? That would be way cooler.

I'm not much into Warhammer beyond Fire Warrior and the Dawn of War game, but from what i've seen more FPS titles in the series of even third person would be nice, especially from the alien's perspectives.

Yeah there are heaps of races within the Warhammer universe other than the bloody orks and space marines. Would be nice if they could cover those a bit better.
