I don't like anime, but I do like comics. I just got into The Walking Dead and like it so far. Anything worth looking into? I like science fiction and stuff. Yes, I've read Watchmen and other books by the same author.

Sci-fiish type stuff? was pretty good for a zombie horror type comic (not usually my thing). Another Warren Ellis title I have really enjoyed is [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetary_%28comics%29]Planetary. It's kind of like an X-Files with superheroes.

I would recommend Star Wars Dark Times. First comic i ever read and still my favorite. The art is great, the story is bleak and the ending of the first volume was amazing. I didn't like the second volume as much but the 3rd is pretty good.

Well, Aliens is pretty cool. At least the first three omnibus volumes.
I also just bought the very first volume of The Sandman, but haven't actually read it yet.

Sandman is pretty cool, but the first volume isn't that good (so don't judge the series on that volume alone), and all but the last few volumes have rather hit-or-miss art. Still a classic.

Pretty much anything by Gaiman. Sandman is a good starting point. Watchmen and Batman Arkham Asylum are pretty much mandatory. You almost can't go wrong with any Vertigo title, really. Aside from the obvious, Transmetropolitan is well worth your time.

If you like Marvel comics, hunt down the What if? series and The Exiles.
Also Earth X, Universe X, and Paradise X are nice reads.
Marvel Zombies series is pretty funny too.
But I really love alternate reality stories though, so I am really biased on these comics. XD
