I say that there is two adventuregames.. which firstly was gabriel knight.. then came broken.. and fuck me Jesus, that was good. Second one was also good. 3 is depatable.
Fate of the atlantis was indeed good and voice actor almost fooled me being harrison ford.

And sequels. i played all three of the faggots. no disrespect to anyone.
i played 2 splinter cells in a row.. I compared them to snake but fuck those were some good games. now to play rest and see if the magic is gone.

haha lol
If somebody asked in hurry.. "which is the best adventuregame" I would say broken sword and then gabriel. Day of the tentactels is truly overrated.. sam et max.. sweeit. Then I goet all weird and say and silent hill 2 is good also. I see that adventure. there is some action.
playes all silent hills this far except 5 but that sucks. 4 was still good.
And what about alone in the dark. Great series. but the newest sucks so much balls that even whole temerian men would not be enough. 4 was kay but 5.. goddammit.

Taleroth: Would it be rude of me to anti-recommend NWN? I just am no fan of that game. It works as a platform for mods, but the game itself is terrible until the second expansion. Absolutely horrible. If you do get it, skip everything but the second expansion.
Well, that's neither rude nor is it exactly anti-recommending NWN, I would immediately subscribe to that. :)

I've been playing NWN for nearly four years now and have never finished the first two campaigns. The first time I played it I hardly finished the Prologue because I already got bored, and on the second try when I got a couple of chapters further, I was annoyed by the weak story-telling and aggravating plot. But there's a lot more sides to NWN than that.

Like I said, the fun is all in the community content, toolset and multiplayer, not the official campaigns (except maybe the second expansion). And you have to look past a few apparent flaws at first to discover the real beauty within. If you're not ready for that because you'd rather stick to the official content than try out the community stuff, or because you want it to be something it isn't (e.g. Baldur's Gate 3), then it definitely isn't the game for you and you will most probably find something better here on GOG. I'm not trying to talk anyone into buying NWN - I can only speak for myself, and personally I can recommend it if the things I wrote about it sound like your cup of tea.

i find it hard to recommend Gothic 2 over NWN considering the all the things said for NWN

perhaps most best game is hard to determine.
These come in random order and those are also console games. So''
Metal gear solid-series
Witcher1
splinter cell, well 1 and 2. havent played 3
Broken sword
GB Knight 1/3
Shadow hearts one, were in ps2
FF VII
Star ocean 2
Fate of the atlantis
Castlevania symphony of the night.
And of course dragon age origins. and many more from bioware. Though, I don't want to believe that EA orders everything.
DA:O 6 or seven years in making.. "sequel" 1,5 years..
not all console games are doomed to be stubid. 'cos I was one in a time.
I played deus ex first time in my borrowed disc for ps2.
Anf few Tenchus" Bone cracking ninja stealth. =)
Nowadays you cannot trust anything.

never been fan of RTS. Well, kessen for ps2 was good..
