The region 2 DVD is out early June (rather quick). If ABC does not grab the TV rights before then, I'll be ordering a copy down here.

Nah, there's 4 specials this year, one on the 11th, one in "novermber-ish" and a 2 part christmas one which apparently features Bernard Cribbins again which would prove interesting, he was awesome

Instant buy! I'll be preordering that from amazon.co.uk, if possible.
Red Dwarf is IMO the best thing that has ever been made for television.
So yeah, I can't wait!

You should look for The Micallef Programme and The Adventures Of Lano & Woodley, they're the only comedies other than Futurama that I like more than Red Dwarf

Gah I missed it!
NOOOO!
I meant to record it on my virgin+ box... but then I managed to get my evil genius cds working again (only one video file was damaged which was bypassable) and... well... if you know that game you know that it is seriously hard to keep track of time whilst planning world domination :/

Excellent :D
I'll make sure I mark record on those today then so as not to miss them again ;)
And yes it can be trying... especially when your one and only marksman goes commando on the agents breaking into the base when all you want him to do is train new marksmen... twit kept getting himself killed and I'd have to go do another kidnap.
I have all 8 series of RD on dvd plus smeg outs and smeg ups.... oh and soundtracks ripped from CDs (or audio recorded from an episode such as tongue tied) to my pc... I'm a bit of an RD nut....
Same for simpsons - have every episode collected so far that have aired - DVDs up to season 11 and all the CDs of the music of the simpsons (going back to the 'Do the Bartman days')... oh and all 48 Tracy Ulman shorts lol....
i'm more of a general sci fi person lol (i.e star trek , sw , stargate, bsg etc) red dwarf is great how ever i much prefer futurama to the simpsons
Futurama was damn good whilst it aired in the first 4 seasons....
I bought the first of the new dvds when they came out (benders big score?) but tbh I didn't rate it as much as the earlier seasons.... Haven't given the newer DVDs a go yet.
Hmm we need a 'favorite star trek' thread.... TNG, Voyager, Enterprise, Classic, DS9 for me.
I have never heard of Red Dwarf until now, but I checked out some clips on YouTube, and damn they're funny! I think I'll have a gander at the DVD when it comes out.
start at the claasics first lol as for the futurama films on dvd benders game is great fun
