Just bought Aquanox. Hope to Buy Aquanox 2 soon. And I really hope we can see on GOG good old MechWarriors and Heavy Gears. As I remember these games were published by Activision?

Well Aquanox is on my wishlist, so I guess I'll be getting that. The only other one I don't have is Postal 2, and I'm not really interested. Still have bad memories of the original Postal, which I actually got for free from a contest.

I already have Painkiller, which is very nice. I guess I'll pull the trigger (haha) on the others, since they are only $4.39 each under this sale. Thanks GOG!

I would say Redneck Rampage is alot harder then Duke3D, I had to have th difficulty on medium rather then high for this game. This seems to be due to the fact alot of the monsters in this game have guns that you can't dodge. The imps are damn annoying as well. Some of the levels in the original are also not very intresting.
That said sucking grits on route 66 expansion was awesome. Its defiantly worth $3.59 even if only for the soundtrack for the first game.

I only played the first game, and I had fun. I don't think it's as good as Duke3D or Blood though, and the enemy variety is somewhat lacking. I also had to use a walkthrough 3-4 times for help with the keyhunts (even on the first level!) and with finding out "what did that switch do?"
The hardest difficulty setting does not allow in-game saves. I may try it to see if I can beat the first level....
And yes, the soundtrack is great. Its too bad you can't control the volume of the music though - I ended up raising the sound effects volume to the max and lowering the volume on my headphones so that the music would not drown everything out.

Painkiller is also amazing if you have a computer able to run it and enjoy just fast paced shooters. It plays alot more like doom or serious sam then story driven shooters like half life.

Yup, Painkiller is one of my favorite FPS games. I like it a lot more than Serious Sam HD.

They're quite different games, so it's hard to directly compare them.
Postal is more of a joke or a novelty than an FPS shooter. It includes missions like "go buy some milk" and weapons include scissors and cows. It got generally mediocre reviews but some magazines loved it.
Painkiller is a shooter through and through. The game mechanics are solid, and the plot is threadbare and almost reminiscent of Doom ("the only way out is through"), which is a pleasant change from the story-driven games that dominate today. It received generally good reviews.
