You can almost smell the desperation.... those Final Fantasy monies must be finally running out
I bet they are laughing. Unbelievably it sold on GOG so why not sell more of it on Steam?

I guess sometimes you just need to let the bad reviews blow over for a few years until something becomes a "classic."

It's not that bad a game once you get past the first level or two. I enjoyed it atleast. :)

So it's only mediocre? Yeah, now you really sold me on it. =P

Mediocre it is but it's rep is worse than the actual game if you ask me. Think of it this way, it's not as bad as the console version! :D
They recently released Omikron and Legacy of Kain 2, and I assume they'll be releasing all the other games they have here and on other digital stores.
And, although not Square-Enix games, Steam recently released Septerra Core, Gorky 17, and the Wizardry titles. So it seems they're really starting to get on the 'classics' bandwagon now. It was bound to happen, good thing I have so many of them from here already. :P

Yeah I saw that too, interesting about Gorky 17 though because as I've read around GOG that game has some problems on modern systems, crashing if you use a nvidia GPU.
No offense, honestly, but unless these posts are important to people, I don't really want to know what's going on over at Steam. I come here for the good old games on GOG, that's what I enjoy hearing about. (Then again, I could just not read them. :P)

If it's important, maybe somebody could create a "GOG Games released on Steam" thread or something like that.

It's just a thread bro
Daikatana past world 1 is pretty decent, actually. It's not even half as bad as they said it was.

I do believe this general forum is supposed to be about games and gaming in general. There are threads about gamersgate, desura and whatnot, why wouldn't it be okay to make threads about steam games?

You're right, but it came on the heels of the "Omikron" and "Wizardry" threads, so I was hoping this wouldn't become a thing.

Fair enough, I get what you're saying.
Think square is desperate for cash they are trying to sell everything they have.
